It’s because YK is just trash and Qiao Chu is on Tencent. Honestly, Youko’s marketing strategy is the worst, they’ve got a ton of historical dramas just sitting in the lineup and waiting to air, yet they keep prioritizing modern dramas. It’s like they don’t even care about the fans who’ve been waiting for months, maybe years, for these projects. Meanwhile, tencent at least knows how to hype up their content and give fans updates consistently. YK really needs a serious overhaul in how they handle releases and promotions.

VOS is one of Youku’s biggest IP dramas and also Gjm's most expensive production to date..with such a high budget, I’m confident he’s making sure every detail is perfect. We can already see how much he’s hyping and promoting this drama, which shows how important it is to him. Honestly, I don’t mind the wait, as long as the final product comes out well-polished and worth all the anticipation🤞
