Honestly, it’s been such a long time since a drama hooked me from the very first teaser — but The moment I saw HMH and Lu Yu Xiao together, I just knew it was going to be special. Their chemistry — so natural and effortless, almost giving me Bailu and Leo vibes (and that’s saying something).
The pacing is consistent — no random dragging, no rushed chaos. It balances humor, mystery, and action so well that I didn’t find myself skipping a single scene. The story just flows — enough tension to keep me curious but not overwhelming.
The characters are where this drama really shines. Ji Bozai powerful kind thoughtful and every xyz of s perfect ML , Ming Yi, on the other hand, is strong, witty, and full of personality — she complements him perfectly. And villain??? More like a chain of villains! One revealing the other.
Visually, it’s stunning. The sets, costumes, and overall aesthetic — everything feels rich and magical without looking exaggerated. You can tell a lot of thought went into every frame as far as CGI is concerned. The music🎵🎶 fits beautifully too, setting a good tone to the overall emotion.
