BossNoeul are great, storytelling has some problems at the end.

Even though the series has some flaws, I enjoyed watching it. I give attention and rating to very few series, because 90% of bl series are so cringy, that it hurts me to watch it (including the most popular ones). So when I criticize The boy next world, it is still better and more qualitative than most bl series out there. So this series already deserves a high rating and everything I will write below is just nitpicking.
The main advantages:
1. Boss and Noeul, the high rate is mostly due to them. They enhance the quality of any product just by their presence. To be completely honest, I wouldn't be interested in this show if it had any other actors in the lead roles. I don't remember if I was ever seriously interested in the plot of any bl series. I only watch those who act realistically and there are very few of them. And this show was definitely enjoyable to watch.
2. Music. This OST deserves all the awards. But the music in the series as a whole is also at a very high level, I would say better than in most of bl series, it sets the mood and atmosphere of the scenes perfectly.
3. Visuals. Angles, colors, frames were great, everyone involved did a wonderful job.
4. Noeul's hair (…joke. not joke)
5. I won't talk about NC in the list, because everyone already knows. BN have the best NCs not only in thai and not only in bl but overall and that is not a subjective opinion, that simply a fact.
And some things that i personally didn't necessarily like:
1. Script. While the plot was pretty simple for me, I found the delivery very strange sometimes. First big problem is that final was way too rushed, i didn't get enough CirPhu in eps 9-10.
The second problem is that the main Sir was poorly written. He was less interesting to me than all the parallel ones. I would have been more interested in watching all 10 episodes with any of the Sirs shown in the flashbacks, especially dark Sir and Payu Sir. His lines in the first episode were strangely worded, it got better in the following episodes, but those first ones turned off some viewers for sure. It felt that even Boss found it easier to play the other Sirs, they felt more alive.
By the way, Phu was written much better. Zero critics to him.
2. Unnecessary drama. I wasn't interested in mom's drama, they spent too much screen time on her, but it didn't annoy me much because I'm already used to the unnecessary amount of drama in every Thai show. The only regret is that they could have spent all that screen time developing SirPhu's relationship and could show more about parallel versions of them.
3. The first two episodes could have fit into one and the finale could have been a couple of episodes longer.
A conclusion:
High quality product. Has issues with rushed ending but still enjoyable to watch. Enjoyed it even more after rewatching the whole series. Favorite episodes - 5 and 8.
Definitely recommend.

P.S.: This series was good for BN as an experiment and a challenge to acting skills, but i feel the vanilla style is not exectly theirs. They need something more aggressive and driving, with humor and action, less plot twists and more development and realism of the characters. And an experienced bad boy character for Noeul please.
