yeah exactly. his actions are contradictory. plus i really hated his jealousy arc. i mean the author had such a golden opportunity to make him a better person than his dad...i mean how jealous u can be as a teenager lmao that u have to hurt ur gf? that was the worst. if u think in hindsight, keifer didnt even like freya that much...his main problem was - she was talking with other boys...actually pretty much all the male characters in the show treat their partners as objects.

i kinda feel like neither keifer nor yuri even like jay, they are just competing against who can win her over. its their ego, not love.

i think i was always deluding myself into thinking a lot of things will be improvised. jokes on me. i have read what happens next and the third novel and imo it never gets better. yes, we all know that keifer has a reason for doing this...but no amount of sad past, threats justify the way he is treating jay. actually, a lot of abusers have a traumatic past but does it justify treating others wrongly? jay should leave the country lmao and never look back. get some therapy (she NEEDS it) and get away from these terrible people around her (which obv wont happen).

Exactly!! Idk why, but this script is giving 'My Demon' just gender reversed and gumiho plot? I kinda feel bored. But I think the acting is superb - Hye Yoon is slaying the role of Eun Ho! I just don't like the plot yet. Hope it gets better lol...I am only watching it bcuz of the actors too.

Exactly their onscreen chemistry is one of best I have ever seen!! They truly do justice to their individual characters, plot aside.

Ikr! The actors potray their respective characters very beautifully...but honestly, I wish people (in the drama) would stop treating Mumu like a child. From the very beginning, Zhao kept hiding about everything 'for her own good' and guess what? Despite being a lil impulsive Mumu managed to save him...I think after all that, atleast when they met by the dock or whatever, he could have told her a lil about his injury and the mission was over too, nothing was holding him back...

I get he was insecure and felt like a burden but thats how you build a healthy relationship! Communication. And I did not like the fact that it was Mumu, who had to seek Zhao out, all over again.

Imo, they could have developed the character of Zhao and made him reach out to her. He did not take the love of Mumu for him seriously at all. If she hadn't recahed out maybe he would not even try to get in touch with her. And that is especially diabolical after telling someone that 'we have a lot of time in the future'. I genuinely hate this trope of 'leaving you, for your own good'. Its insulting to the other person.

I dunno bout y'all but Esther is a damn good actress! Aaand stop making Mumu cry already, yeah well Zhao is hurting, but its been earth shattering for her, imagine being worried sick bout your closest person, not knowing whether he is alive or dead and everyone except you knows bout it. While I understand Zhou's POV but can't he see how much he hurt Mumu? He underestimated her love for him man...I wish he properly communicated with her. But please give my gurl Mumu some peace.

Guys don't get me wrong, I love the chemistry bw Ashdres, but wtf is Keifer doing? He just just grabbed Jay full on and it was kinda abusive, because he was jealous, after he kissed her infront of everyone? And Yuri - bro is manipulating Jay every moment and gaslighting her as if he didn't stage the engagement! They are treating her like some object. I love a good love triangle but this feels so toxic. I can't even root for any of the guys. Atp, I want Jay to pack her bags and run cuz wtf. If this doesn't improve Imma dropping this.
