Started with magic, ended with... meh.
I really wanted to like Destined With You — the setup was unique, with curses, old books, and a magical romance that felt fresh at first. But somewhere along the way, it just... lost me.The pacing is painfully slow, especially in the middle episodes. Scenes drag out, the plot gets repetitive, and the romance, which should’ve been exciting, starts to feel forced and awkward. I kept waiting for a big moment, a twist, something to pull me back in — but it never came.
The visuals were nice, and the actors did what they could, but even strong performances couldn’t save the writing. It’s one of those dramas where you keep watching just to see if it’ll get better... and for me, it didn’t.
If you enjoy slow-burn romances and don’t mind a plot that moves like molasses, you might enjoy it more than I did. But personally, it just wasn’t worth the time.

this drama is not talked about enough
Boyhood completely caught me off guard — in the best way. I went in expecting something simple, but what I got was a funny, chaotic, emotional, and insanely entertaining ride from start to finish. The characters feel so real. But underneath all the humor, there’s a lot of heart. The friendship, the loyalty, the little moments of growth It balances comedy and emotion in a way that keeps you hooked without ever feeling too heavy or too silly.
The main cast carry the whole show. Their energy and chemistry are insane.
It’s rare to find a drama that makes you laugh out loud and genuinely care about what happens next. Boyhood does that.
this one is absolutely worth it

A Masterpiece Till the Final Bell
I just finished Money Heist: Korea and WOW — what a ride. That last episode had me crying, laughing, clapping — all at once. I don’t say this often, but this drama truly felt like a masterpiece. From the start, the tension is high, the characters are layered, and the stakes never drop. Every episode pulls you deeper, and even when you think you know what’s going to happen, it twists again. The writing is smart, the pacing is tight, and the emotional moments actually hit — hard.
The actors absolutely killed their roles (especially the Professor, Berlin, and Tokyo), and the chemistry among the cast made the whole heist feel real and powerful. It’s not just about robbing a mint — it’s about rebellion, unity, survival, and sacrifice.
Even if you’ve seen the original La Casa de Papel, this version brings its own flavor. The Korean setting and context made it feel fresh, meaningful, and so worth watching.
💯 A strong 10/10 from me. I’d rewatch it in a heartbeat.

it's good if you like the type of drama it is
Backstreet Rookie isn’t perfect, but it’s definitely fun if you’re looking for something light, chaotic, and funny. I came for Kim Yoo-jung and Ji Chang-wook, and they totally carried the show with their chemistry and energy. The cast is honestly the best part — every actor brought something unique and enjoyable, though I wish it had a better plot for them because I don't hate the show but for this cast you would've expected better. The story follows a simple convenience store setup with quirky customers, odd situations, and a female lead who’s tough, loyal, and kind of chaotic in the best way. I liked that it didn’t take itself too seriously — it was easy to watch, didn’t demand full attention, and had enough heartwarming moments to keep me invested.
That said, the plot could’ve been way better. Some parts were random or dragged on, and a few things felt unnecessary (and yes, there’s a scene in the beginning that definitely should’ve been cut). There’s also an age gap between the leads that isn’t handled as smoothly as it could’ve been, also the unnecessary dreads guy he just annoyed me the whole show. Still, the comedy, relationships, and feel-good moments made up for it.
Overall, it’s not the deepest drama — but it’s charming and made me smile. If you like light romantic comedies with lovable leads and don’t mind a few writing flaws, give it a try!

More Than Just a Zombie Drama
All of Us Are Dead really surprised me. I expected just action and zombies, but it gave so much more, I don't think I ever saw a zombie apocalypse show based on a school so it was really interesting, I even want there to be more zombies based on different places and how they get out. The characters actually made me care they didn't really dig into their stories but they gave slight hints about how their lives were so it was nice to see that, I'm glad they gave them a story too, and the emotions hit hard. It shows how scary survival can be, especially for students. The storyline was fast-paced but still emotional, and some scenes stayed in my head for days, I binged watched this show in a day I didn't even realize hours were passing by till I finished it and I still rewatch it as my "comfort" drama because it's so addicting, this one’s definitely worth watching. Was this review helpful to you?
