Not my cup of tea

My expectations were too high with this drama. The leads are gorgeous but the plot was too depressing compared with Hidden Love. Chinese dramas these days focus more on being visually appealing than have a strong story. There were many gifable moments but that's it. The story was really slow and dark. The plot about the dead dog and the senile grandpa was unnecessary. It took so much time from the main story or even the 2nd leads. The moment the uncle appeared I decided to drop this drama. This is not something I would watch as entertainment.

It was promising

I liked Deng Wei on Lost you forever he was so sweet and faithful but I don't know I think he was not ready to carry with a whole drama as a lead. I think this character required to be a lot more stronger.. maybe he has a gentil face I wasn't convinced by his acting. I hope to see him playing better roles in the future.
