Even though I didn’t like the set up of a diner for them both, to start and end whatever they had at a particular night set up didn’t feel right to me as a form of closure but you shouldn’t put it past jiayi for stringing both on! Clear signal it is for going on in for xueng cheng, but why didn’t she clearly give him a closure during the dinner???? She kept beating around the bush instead of totally rejecting him, what can you make out of that behavior? Even her roommate Han told her to use the opportunity of the next morning breakfast and tell him not to make it anymore but she went on to praise him for the dishes, as though she liked the efforts meanwhile she didn’t.
Jiayi isn’t true to herself nor does she know what she wants, even Jiawei told her that!
Edited to add this: In as much we are all tired of lianting still going for her even with the obvious signs of her not being interested in him, jiayi isn’t blameless.
I am so fed up with all of Jiayi scenes, hope production would give more focus on other couples...her drama has…
