I put Hidden Love in my "Comfort Shows" list. I've re-watched it several times now. So far I have liked all the shows based on Zhu Yi books though Hidden Love and First Frost are the best. More to come though.

I'm now up to 6 of the original listed dramas. You Are My Glory unexpectedly skyrocketed to #1 for me. I was not prepared for the jump in maturity and quality of Yang Yang's performance. Great work. A lot of nuanced acting to give the character more depth than I've seen in his earlier work. I am convinced now that high caliber actors working together influence the quality of the romance chemistry between the two leads.

So far I've only watched 5 of these dramas. I find it strange that A Dream Within a Dream was not on this list as I thought the Chemistry between Li Yuning and Li Yutong was stronger than The Prisoner of Beauty. I also thing both of Li Yuning's shows have better chemistry than at least one of Ryan Cheng's two on this list. Also strangely missing is First Frost with Zhang Ruo Nan and Bai Jing Ting which has very high Chemistry between the two leads. Shadow Love was really awful. It's very over rated. As is Falling into Your Smile which was just a meh show (in my opinion).

I just watched The Ghost Bride which was pretty good. Not pure horror, but it has ghosts some are creepy and spends time in The Netherworld as part of its plot. I really enjoyed it. high Fun factor rather than Scare though.
