If you don't like my opinion ignore it. My degrees and professional standing verify I'm not an idiot. And IIn fact I'm trained to give critical reviews on various forms of entertainment media. Have you read Aristotle's Poetics? Additionally personal attacks are a logical fallacy and say more about you than me.
Ok -- so if best chemistry was between the ML and the person watching (me), then perhaps Shadow Love would rank higher. It's hard to resist the vast amount of time shirtless the ML spends. That being said, the show takes too long to reel in the viewer and the ending is a bit stiffly rushed. I moved its rank up from the bottom, but still not even my favorite of Ryan Cheng's shows on this list.

I think you should add anything where the Couples have Chemistry. They don't have to be romances. I am not familiar with The Confidence so I'm not sure what you mean. Now I'm curious though.

Your post here is a personal attack in several ways. Philosophically first you are using "Straw Man Fallacy" where the person deliberately misrepresents the other argument to make it easer to attack. In this case, you are misrepresenting my original post as "not accepting" with a public vote. My original post says "I find it interesting..." Then I give my reasons for why I don't think Hidden Love has more romantic chemistry between the leads than First Frost. Additionally you misrepresent those reasons as insults and attacks against specific actors when they are not. Being curious and expressing a different opinion is not a judgement or an insult. Secondly, you are using an Ad Hominem Fallacy where the person attacks the person making the argument rather than the argument itself. I have a master's degree in Philosophy. I believe in the importance and value of thought, respectful conversation. I am clearly expressing my personal opinion and thoughts. These are not judgements against anyone who thinks differently than me. I created this list because I wanted to know what other people think. And it is obvious that people have all kinds of different thoughts about couples with the best chemistry. This list created because I am curious about other people and I want to know what people think differently and why. I just ask that you not take offense where offense is obviously not intended. And either engage with kindness or ignore me.
This is a solid list, love every single dramas here! Although The Double is more angsty rather than a comfort…
It is angsty but not after the first watch, I thought. I think the comfort for me is in the music and costuming, romance of the leads. The cleverness of the FL who reassures me the enduring is possible. I find hope in her.
The chemistry between the leads is strong creating an investment in the outcome of their individual stories. The action sequences are incredibly well choreographed and filmed. The ending is a bit muddled and perhaps rushed. It seems to have less attention than other elements of the plot. The secondary leads both male and female are underutilized with such strong actors it seems a waste. Otherwise the plot is fairly standard and doesn't stick out. I think this show would have been amazing with better writing,
One might ask why The Coroner's Diary is on this list since I appear to be critical of the show. And I am. But Landy Li is talented and amazing. The subplot mysteries are interesting. And production value is very high. It's gorgeous. I will watch this show again for the things I liked.
I find it interesting that Hidden Love is ahead of First Frost. Both are based on books by Zhu Yi. Zhao Lu Si is fantastic and I would agree has a more charisma and stronger screen presence than Zhang Ruo Nan. But then Bai Jing Ting has way more charisma and screen presence than Chen Zhe Yuan. I think it comes down to the stronger story. Hidden Love is really cute and sweet and hits the feels very well. First Frost is a better story. There's more character depth, intensity and more at stake for the couple which ramps up the chemistry between the Leads.
