I believe this makes the story more interesting: the CP explicitly reduces the romance aspect to help young viewers understand that, even when dating and filled with passion, the best way to approach a relationship is to keep it simple and a bit grounded. While the novel may contain steamy scenes, the focus of the series is on personal growth. The steamy elements are toned down to make the story more suitable for today's youth, allowing teenagers to learn valuable lessons in a time when many topics are more open and less taboo.
