Bringing Hong Xian to the dukes residence is such a bad plot. We all know to some extent as to why the writers brought her there and it's to rage bait the audience most of time. The show was already going downhill after the twin arc, now that they got the sister to cockblock the main leads.

So much for the cunning female lead omg. I think they removed her cunning in this episode for the plot. Our Wei rao was getting influenced left and right by scheming biches in this episode that she needed an eclipse to convince her that she made a wrong choice.

Omg that gambling brother, I just can't stand him. He seriously needs to face severe repercussions for his gambling, which I haven't seen yet but I hope it happens.

It's called bad writing. I was so disappointed when she forgives her adopted mother. I would have accepted if she cut off family ties with them but to forgive them for what they did to her?? omg and that mother keeps playing that forgive her children card which annoys me even more.
