I’m still a few chapters in but you’re absolutely right about CY being dislikable and especially with how he tried to give Heesu the hint that he wouldn’t ever be interested in men by being the playboy that he is like that was just iffy for me but you’re right, thank goodness Seungwon was there to save him from all that.

I just hoped that the directors for this kept the moments with the straight couple into a minimum like i would have been fine if they used the whole ep 3 for that and then focused back on to Heesu’s story. But since it wasn’t, it felt like a waste of space to watch Chanyoung and Jiyu being all cute together and Chanyoung’s tennis ordeal. Really bummed out that I waited for a whole week for these two eps but i hope to see them redeem themselves with the next two and prove me wrong,

And yes! I got to the part where Heesu met Seungwon’s moms and was amazed by how open they were with their identity and relationship which made me really happy and hope to see in the adaptation.

the way they’re putting this together is just chaotic like one moment we’re seeing heesu being rlly bothered by anon so it gets rlly serious and as a viewer, you could almost empathize with him, knowing that someone from the school knows your crush and could potentially out you to them or maybe the whole school. but before you could even do that, it shifts to the straight couples cute moments like??? idk anymore at this point

probably not? i was actually thinking the same thing when she showed the picture but based on her reaction, she was probably just surprised to see seungwon like that. though if im wrong, then im just gonna flip the table

also if i remember correctly, seungwon has two moms which i really enjoyed in the manhwa and hope to god that they kept that the same in the drama cuz it made me realize how seungwon never really cared whether or not heesu was a boy because it was normal for him that ppl of the same gender can love each other and that was the highlight for me

SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK!!! I don’t know about the others but I’ve read the manhwa a long time ago and i remember enjoying every single bit of it. I expected the same for this drama since its the adaptation. But watching ep 3-4 is making me wanna pull my hair out of my head because I wanted to see more interaction from heesu and seungwon. Like this is about heesu since his name is literally in the title. Sure he’s in most of the scenes but because most of the focus in these new eps were on the second couple, it felt like heesu was just passing by. when we’re given something that would interesting in heesu’s story, they cut it short and shift to the second couple so the momentum is basically gone at that point.

it left a terrible taste in my mouth knowing that they replaced the og second couple with a straight one but sure okay maybe it wont affect the plot that much. honestly, its making me think they might overshadow the main couple right here but maybe thats just me and its only been 4 eps so maybe its too early to say but still. i just wanted them to keep the original material instead of adding all these additional (maybe unnecessary) plot devices like for those who’ve read the manhwa like me and loved it up to the end. i’ve forgotten some parts of it which is why im going to reread it now since i was rlly disappointed by these recent eps.

ppl who havent read the manhwa will probably hate me for this and say im overreacting but this is just my opinion and me trying to vent out my frustration
