Prepping all the ingredients for something truly special
It's been quite a while since I started watching a drama that I enjoyed as much as the first two episodes of this one. I was really impressed with how this series began. The actors are good, and the characters they play have interesting motivations. The ML is somehow both endearing and a little evil. I'm looking forward to the growth we will see from him over the remainder of the series. The FL is a bit more mysterious, so it will be interesting to see how here character develops going forward and what her backstory is. I thought the supporting characters also added a nice touch of comic relief. The story seems like it will be pretty standard "comfort food" and I'm excited to see how it turns out. I don't remember the music very much, so it didn't stand out to me. It's good enough this far that I could see myself rewatching it, but we'll have to see how it turns out. It is a little bit like The Potato Lab, and I was rather disappointed with how that show fell off, so I hope this series pulls it off better.
