I cant stop crying my first time seeing a drama kill both main characters. can someone pls explain the ending , are they implying they will continuously be reincarnated and that zhao yulan will always meet a bad end because he sacrificed himself for the lantern, also is that why shen wei says he hopes no matter how long it takes they will meet again?

i will never forgive y'all, why didn't anyone tell me not to watch the last episode. Honestly it was a great show, i cant even call the end happy but its real, in life there are no do-overs . i haven't cried like this in a while.
