Really? chan young dated a guy? I didn't continue reading because I am not fond of the new introduced couple in the manhwa. It annoyed me when they are stealing moments from seungwon and heesu from the manhwa so I stopped reading there. Haha
In manhwa, chan young already knew that heesu likes him but sadly, chan young only like girls.? That is his reason. I think. He doesn't want to hurt the feelings of heesu by rejecting him since he is his best friend so when he learnt that seungwon likes heesu, he and ji hyu helped seungwon a lot to get heesu. So basically, the role of the character of chan young is the same as ji hyu since they are bestfriends. But unfortunately, the live adaptation did not give that side of chan young. I liked chan young character in the manhwa.
So that explains why the series is slow-paced in terms of heesu and seungwon. if they are going to end it just like the 1st season of manhwa.

As far as I remember, chan young and ji hyu are "not love interest." So I was confused why chan young like jihyu hahaha
