The story is very predictable, but still enjoyable because of the great cast. I like the MC a lot, very cool guy. Romantic plotlines were boring, but MC and the regby team were great. Villains were annoying as fuck, though, like how petty you have to be to insert yourself in every whole just to make a regby team suffer. Shooting coach should go get a life. I couldn`t stand him.
lol manhwa of this drama came out way before whc,and they also started filming this drama before weak hero drama…
Didn’t know it is based on webtoon. But doubt it was filmed before whc, but that’s fine. I actually don’t mind the similarities, whc is my favourite drama, so I like the similar ones. One looks very interesting, and we will see how it progresses
i can`t stop comparing with WCH. even the name of the show has "one" in it, and in s2 they will probably switch to two: high school heroes. ep 1 was very much reminiscent of wch. but, i like the MC, the actor is very good. I don`t like the other guy, though, I don`t understand what his deal is. will see how it goes. MC home drama is the most interesting story here, I am invested in it. and fights are very nicely choreographed.
I love it, even though Season 1 was superb. But I think the writers put themselves in a tough spot: they created such an impactful story in Season 1 with the insane chemistry between Suho and Sieun. Now, fans mainly just want to see Suho — they don’t really care about the new characters. The problem is, in the manga, Suho and Sieun barely interact for over 200 chapters, so it's hard to satisfy show-only fans. I saw so many complaints that Suho should have been a bigger part of Season 2, but if you go by the manga, he really shouldn't even be there. However, because people loved Suho and Sieun together so much, they aren’t satisfied with just a few 5-minute appearances from him in Season 2. Also, manga fans are upset because a lot of material was cut due to the 8-episode format. Webtoon fans wanted all the characters and arcs to be included in the live action, but realistically, the creators couldn’t stretch it into a 5-6 season show. They had to pack everything into one season and somehow satisfy both show-only fans and manga fans. Honestly, it’s a really tough spot to be in. I still enjoyed Season 2, but I can definitely understand the frustration (at least to a certain extent).
i feel like suho’s scene was a pretake scene from 3 years ago or earlier, because sieun and suho never interacted…
it was not, there are photos of choi huynwook in the set for season 2. They didn`t hug because Sieun is not a hugger, he never hugged Suho even in s1. So it was unrealistic for his character to hug, the smile is how they interact and seeing this smile literally second time in the whole series respresents how much Sieun cares for Suho.
