I agree with you on the acting part. Sabrina Zhuang did so well in emotional scenes while Arthur's performance was a bit lacking in those scenes, like I expected more emotions.
Now that I’ve finished it, I actually like this drama. Normally, I don’t watch dramas where the leads are already a couple, so this was a new experience for me. The scenes between the main leads aren’t passionate or heart-fluttering, but they feel like a couple who genuinely care about each other. I like that we got 15 episodes of their happy moments and less focus on conflict. Even after the breakup, it wasn’t that bad.
I also really like the side characters. SMM and Mr. Qin are my all-time favorite couple. WY and XCX are also very cute. I think this is a drama I’ll come back to from time to time.
By the way, what's the song that starts with "Time and time..."? I can't find it.

I want to add another thing , when she finally told him everything, GY said, 'Why didn’t you tell me earlier?' But when she asked him about his dad, he said, 'I’ll tell you later.' When she asked him if something had happened at home, he said nothing had. She fully opened up to him, but he didn’t. He actually didn’t share much about his life, aside from how great his mom was and his dream of making shoes.

I feel like you’ve never read any real-life cheating stories. Even the man who seems like the nicest, most family-oriented guy can cheat—and cheating with a close friend is sadly not that uncommon. She gave him a chance to explain because she didn’t immediately believe he had cheated. But he led her to believe it was true.

I also noticed those gestures from DZT, and she genuinely made an effort to be with him. She adapted herself a lot, just as you described, yet somehow people overlook it. DZT's love shows in the little details, and it's clear that she loves him deeply.

I'm currently on EP 14. Let me rant about XCX a bit. She's not a bad character, and she does have her adorable side, but the way she's beefing with DZT just because she's GY's girlfriend, and because she thinks they don't match, really gets on my nerves. She has no right to interfere in their relationship, even if she has good intentions toward GY. And she definitely shouldn't be this rude to DZT. They're not even friends, they only know each other because of GY. I'd say DZT has a lot of patience, because I wouldn't be able to hold back if my boyfriend's friend kept being rude to me. And even if DZT is poor, she shouldn't keep thinking of her as a gold digger.
