POJ wasn't that much of a romance story. Love interest appears more when there is romance even in the novel the ml was about how handsome he looks. When it's male centric the main character doesn't even has love interest most of the time same way female centrics are mls doesn't appears until half way in the chapters especially if the main theme isn't romance
