ONE OF MY FAV THIS YEAR!

I decided to watch this drama mainly because of Zhu Xudan, since I’ve loved her ever since Love Game in Eastern Fantasy. I’m glad I gave it a try because there were so many things I enjoyed!

The story was really engaging up until around episode 32. I found myself completely drawn in, and I was especially impressed by the male lead. He delivered such a strong performance that I am now interested in checking out more of his dramas. The OST was another highlight for me. The music fit the mood perfectly, and I loved it so much that I have added the songs to my personal playlist.

At first, I was frustrated with how the male lead’s story was written, since it felt unfair and unsatisfying in some parts of the earlier episodes. Then, when the screenwriter suddenly appeared in the last episodes, I found it annoying and thought it might ruin the whole experience. But as the story went on, the way the characters changed and grew in those final episodes actually surprised me. By the time I reached the ending, I felt satisfied and even amazed at how it all came together.

Overall, this drama gave me a mix of emotions. There were moments of frustration, but also a lot of enjoyment. The ending really made up for the earlier disappointments, and I can say I loved it. Definitely would rewatch this again!!
