Title The First Frost
The novel has a different ML character since he betrayed the trust she put on him. Its a bittersweet ending in the book. I can understand Cdrama TV series changed the ML character to more "we were helpless against fate". All in all this is the greatest romance/life Chinese tv series i have watched so far.
