Unexpectedly Addicted to My Golden Blood
I honestly didn’t expect to get this hooked, but here I am—obsessed. The story pulls you in right away with this cool fantasy vibe, but it’s the emotions and characters that really got me. Mark (Joss) as a 200-year-old vampire? Mysterious, broody, and somehow still super lovable. And Fluke as Tong? He’s just so easy to root for—sweet, brave, and with blood that literally changes everything.
Their chemistry felt natural and deep, and I loved how the show balanced the romance with darker, suspenseful moments. There’s drama, there’s tenderness, and even though it’s a vampire story, it never feels over-the-top. It’s just... captivating.
Also, the visuals and music? So on point. Every episode had that polished, cinematic look, and the soundtrack fit perfectly. (I’ve already added “Closer” and “Just You” to my playlist).
If you're into BL with a twist, or you just want something different and emotional, I 100% recommend giving My Golden Blood a try. It’s got heart, tension, and moments that’ll stick with you.
