A compelling love story
Watching The Next Prince felt like stepping into a story I’ve always wanted to see come to life. As someone who adores the “damsel in distress” trope—but with a twist—this BL series gave me everything I hoped for and more. It’s not just a romance; it’s a beautifully woven tale of identity, duty, and love that defies boundaries.NuNew Chawarin as Prince Khanin is absolutely captivating. His journey from an ordinary life in London to discovering his royal lineage in the fictional kingdom of Emmaly was both touching and empowering. And then there’s Zee Pruk Panich as Charan, the loyal and emotionally complex bodyguard whose quiet strength is impossible to ignore. Their chemistry is magnetic—every glance and moment between them brims with unspoken longing.
What made this series truly special for me is how it embraced the fantasy of royal life while grounding it in real emotions. The fencing scenes, the stunning palace visuals, and the layered court politics created a rich backdrop for a love story that felt genuine and earned. I was swept away by the tension, the softness, and the slow burn that led to something deeply affirming.
The Next Prince didn’t just entertain me—it made me feel seen. It gave me a love story where protection turned into partnership, and where the heart of a prince belonged not to tradition, but to the one who truly understood him.
