I just finished this drama and I cannot sleep because there isn't a part 2 yet. Caiwei is literally my spirit animal. Love her so much. And this was peak cinematography. Each and every frame was absolutely stunning. Comedy on point and the emotional scenes were excellently executed. The execution of the storyline felt fabulous as well as I haven't read the novel so I don't really know the actual thing but it fell well coordinated and I wasn't confused about anything. (LORD WEI IS A DIVA AN ICON)
Cute drama but not my cup of tea and to be honest I watched this drama for Fan Shi Qi hehehe. The only reasonable person I found in this whole thing was the Lawyer. And the FL needed some self respect like why was she throwing herself at the ML at the end, she's a MMA fighter for god's sake. It was cute but not really my type of drama. I think it's just me who is really eyewashed by the recent gorgeous xianxia, wuxia masterpieces that I forgot to vibe with modern dramas. It's just me but I think if 2021 me watched this she would find it really cute
This was such a reasonable drama. Like the character development was consistent and excellent and I loved how Xiao Jue didn't gave up everything for her and protected what he must. The female lead was capable and reasonable and both of them avoided unnecessary complications and misunderstandings and always talked it out. But the king was kind of dumb like wdym you got manipulated twice and made that many dumb decisions. Overall it was peaceful to watch and I loved how the female lead protected herself and others in dire situations. I would call it a must watch of 2025 and I will definitely rewatch it someday
What the hell was even that about. It was very enjoyable and gripping in the first episodes but when the FL fell down the cliff, the drama also did fell down with her. Like what the hell is this plot even about and I'm confused about so many things like?????????
edit: finished the drama and to be honest waste of time, excellent production, ost and cast wasted on a pointless script, like they literally gave a tutorial on how to end a drama in the most horrible way, like what happed to the Qi state? and this drama contained one of the most craziest harems like Prince Wuyan was really obsessed with a woman who was his mother's age, no offense but it was crazy BUT I WAS REALLY CURIOUS WHAT HAPPENED IN THR QI STATE LIKE I WAS COMMITTED TO THIS DRAMA TILL EP 18 THEN THEY MESSED IT UP SO BAD
dropped it as ep 30 idk why it felt like they were dragging this for too long. I am sucker for Yuxi's works but this was not it and how the hell did the fl got promoted so much like wth
