I don't think I will support the sister to be the FL instead. Sure she can use whip, but she pick fight with everyone (whos's mostly weaker than her), hurt people that never bother her in the first place, and the temper... I just can't. So far there's nothing good about her character, even her desperation about being the child of concubine is purely comes from jealousy (no one around her ever belittle her or whatsoever).

the tags is so messy tbh most of it isn't right, the ML is happy being just a prince and general, the FL will never be a general, and so far in the book the second or third fl isn't a general either.

in the book that subplot is more reasonable, she has a big role to turn the table into the other princess, I also upset they just make it as simple as the ML save her again and again

Oh, my bad, since we have king and emperor I should say it was Empress and Empress Dowager. Wang Ye (ML) can be translated as King but MGTV use Prince & Princess for Wang Fei (FL). But yeah, Emperor is the highest in the court (only one) while Wang Ye (king/prince) could be more than one.
Yes. Queen/Empress is the current emperor's wife.

Like Shafu said, ML and Emperor are cousins, FL and the current Queen are just in-laws, the Godfather and the Queen Dowager comes from the same family, Su. This family hold a very strong influence in the empire, and they want to maintain their influences even tho the Emperor and Queen is now already changed (the current emperor only ascended to the throne 10 years ago and has been struggling to clean the Queen Dowager's family influence).

She's considered new in the industry, this is her second leading role (in drama) after Jin Yong wuxia "Legend of Heroes" as Huang Rong. She was great there but the script doesn't really do her justice, it's so messy. So watching her in this drama with so much screentime to highlight her performance is just really making me happy.

Her movie as leading role "Reversed Destiny" is also nice, it's a tearjerker type and you can see some range from her there.

It might not be an award-winning role but Ming Tan's character suits Bao Shang En so much, she shine in this drama

She's in eps 7 with all black clothes, but they haven't introduce her character properly, maybe in the next eps. She supposedly becomes the third couple with one of the Jiang Xu's friends (I dont want to spoil which one is).

If I remember correctly they're cousins. There will be part when they explain Jiang Xu family later in the novel, just have to wait till the drama get into it.

She appears when Ming Tan and Jiang Xu goes to Lingzhou, she act reckless there and use Ming Tan's title to bullies other lady.
