I really like the pacing - it doesn't drag on and on and on and you can see the human side of these characters. Zang Hai may have one goal and one goal in mind: revenge, but he's not mindless, he refuses to kill ZZX, at some point, he was reckless, wanting to end it once and for all. He makes mistakes but understands that revenge as a whole is a risk, a gamble, and he's willing to pay the price even if it's his life.
Totally agree with you. At first I was excited because it was a drama of Xiao Zhan and as I am watching every…
This! Normally, I would have given up because I don't like it when a drama doesn't explain multiple things right away. But this one is paced just right. The ones needing the "big reveals" can wait because the more pressing matters are addressed right away.
Anyone coming here to know whether this drama is worth watching , I wanna to say that so far... it is :) First, the plot is interesting. The first episode is action-packed, and they set the stage to get you curious. What was the item that made an obviously loving, dedicated father refuse to give up despite seeing his whole household annihilated? Throughout the 4 episodes that are currently available, there's a mixture of emotions. Brutal, sad, angry, curious, lighthearted humor, etc. The shots, I must say, are cinematic. Their acting is realistic. The turn of events is just right - fast, but not hastily done. The characters have depth - and not just Zang Hai. Even the masters will have you thinking (but of course, this is bec I have trust issues lol).
So if you're looking for a drama reco, so far, it's great.
Yes they did the surgery on the child and for other things you'll have to watch the episodes as the masters story…
I saw a discussion that the facial reconstruction surgery is based on traditional medicine, so it's not entirely something they decided to add lightly. I agree it's messed up, but it's necessary tho and frankly for me, quite a realistic decision if they want to maintain that he has truly died).
