I saw that interview. to me, it sounds like they're focusing on thai viewers, and not even mentioning international…
Oh and i also apologize if my comment made you thinkšŸ™šŸ»i was saying that’s what KNP was implying.

I just think you’re trying to justify something that doesn’t need justifyingšŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøI only said they were worried about Thai audiences not understanding, but what i actually see is Thai opening up intelligently to the series and the characters.Meanwhile,on the international side,i see comments like Ā«THE ACTOR WHO PLAYS KHEMJIRA IS COMPLETELY USELESS,POINTLESS.ALSO CRITICIZE OTHER PEOPLE’S CULTUREĀ»Like, that can only come from dumb people. So yeah, the team clearly overestimated the international audience’s intelligence. It just feels unfair that as soon as some can’t grasp another culture, they start trashing the work instead of simply doing research to catch up.

(Those are KengNamping own words, his worries and the team concerns about how the Thai audience would understand the series.Reading the comments here,i don’t think they realized there’d be brainless people on the international side too. They definitely overestimated the intelligence of the international sidešŸ˜‚it’s literally the opposite.)šŸ‘‰šŸ»šŸ‘‰šŸ»šŸ‘‰šŸ»For series, they’re usually made to be easy to understand. Most successful series in Thailand tend to be like that. You watch them and get it right away, without much cultural layering,as they are more about relationships. But our (Khemjira)has culture, relationships, and also supernatural, soft power...so many elements.Because of that,we were worried: will people really understand it?
The storytelling isn’t straightforward either. It doesn’t just go from one event to the next. Instead, it jumps: from the present back to the past, then to the future, then into dreams, then back again to the present. So we wondered "will Thai audiences get it? Will they follow along?"
