Hmm i've watched upto 3 or 4 eps I think (did so 3 months ago) and really felt that he'd be a great pair for the FL. I saw the spoilers for what he did further in the eps, and it sure is a despicable thing to do. I'm just gonna think that since he was so perfect in all aspects, the writers had to resort to doing that to his character so that people would keep supporting the ML for the FL. Haha maybe I'm just too biased with the 2ML so I just couldn't continue it further!
