I believe in love and not hate, in faith and not fate.

I believe in speaking the truth in love, not in speaking lies, whether white or black, or whatever shade or colour the lie may be.

I believe in forgiveness, not in unforgiveness or revenge.

I do not believe in repaying evil with evil. Rather, I believe in overcoming evil with good. But if doing a good deed will lead to more evil, then better to follow the path of caution or total avoidance.

I do not believe in the cycle of paybacks and curses. Rather, I believe in justice, with wrongdoers acknowledging their wrongs, owning them, repenting, receiving mercy, forgiveness and blessings. I believe every human being deserves redemption and should be aided to make this choice.

I do not believe in the human love that embraces both good and evil. Having good muddied or tainted all over with evil. Rather, I believe in a love that embraces good and eschews evil. It's called the perfect love. And it does exist all around us but we choose not to believe in and accept it.

I’m a fan of movies but not so much of TV series. I have watched only a handful of series. However, I came across a cdrama in early 2024 that piqued my interest. One drama led to another and that was it. I had watched several cdramas before discovering My Drama List community. I think it is a great platform for viewers to interact and give feedback about Asian dramas they watch.

Storytelling is a powerful tool for stimulating and catalyzing behaviour change in people, especially through its subliminal messaging. I see movies and TV series as the most impactful art of storytelling because a motion picture is worth more than a thousand written words. Therefore, I believe it is absolutely necessary that motion pictures communicate messages that are good, have virtue, and give life. As these messages shape the beliefs, values, attitudes, behaviours, habits, and, ultimately, lives of not just a group of individuals, but entire generations of people. 

Unfortunately, though, the majority of stories already out there, and that continue to be told have little to no good, virtue, and life in them. For those that seem to do so, they are muddied and tainted.
