Regardless both are actors I haven’t been able to watch since this train wreck so I think it’s more than just…
I love Gong Jun, partly because he is just so handsome lol. The first drama i saw Dilraba in was The Long Ballad. I HATED her there. I don’t know why they always like the stories about women dressing up as men. Like how could anybody buy her as a man? It was so off putting that i try to avoid anything she’s in. Although when i saw Eternal Love, she was fine-ish…

There’s no spark between Dilraba and Gong Jun because Dilraba isn’t a man. Gong Jun is the master of BL (in Chinese speak, it’s “censored adaptation of same sex original work”), and anything else is just not gonna work. 😂

So basically are you saying, this should have been a great BL, but because of Chinese censorship, they added a woman to pass censorship, but anyone and everyone ships the two male leads?

Review Eat Run Love
Yes, I agree with you. When Destiny Brings the Demon is the dark horse of 2025 - it had been in my watchlist for…
I will make note of that! I haven’t really paid any attention to the director or author of source materials or screenwriter so far. It just feels like maybe the author/screenwriter got slighted by a man once and now she’s on a revenge tour. (I’m assuming the screenwriter is a she.)

Review Eat Run Love
Thank you for your review! I’m on episode 21 and I’m so over it. Totally fed up with Ding Zhi Tong and her childish, selfish ways. I will let it play to the end, because I hate unfinished series even more than I hate what’s going on in this show. Also I love Arthur Chen. I think I should have watched When Destiny Brings the Demon instead. 😩

Review Eat Run Love Spoiler
Omg! I’m on episode 21 and I’ve already had enough of Ding Zhi Tong. She is so self centered and childish and only thinks about herself. Like, she won’t even give him a chance to explain and keeps lying about being married to that other guy (who is really cute btw, as a side note). I can’t stand female characters like this, where they only think they’re right and everything they do is out of spite and anger and serve ZERO PURPOSE. I suppose if I’m to finish this series I’ll have to suffer to the end, which according to your review, is so not worth it. 😩
