I absolutely can compare the two 😭 DBTE having flaws doesn’t automatically make it “leaps better.” Cohesive is also subjective because there were definitely parts of DBTE that I felt could’ve been written or paced better. And saying *Knot* sounds AI-written isn’t really an argument unless you actually know AI was used 😭.

I’m comparing them based on what I enjoyed: the characters, relationships, acting, pacing, and story. I personally connected with Nakhun and Phatsa WAY more, especially Phatsa actually having a backbone and Nakhun respecting his independence. unlike big and lil jane "im poor so i wanna do everything myself".

You can prefer DBTE, that’s fine, but that show was INSUFFERABLE to me 😭 had me pausing to breathe every five seconds. Half the drama was built around people refusing to communicate, and whenever that wasn’t enough, it felt like the show reached for shock value to keep things going. If that’s what you call good TV, then me and you just have completely different taste in BLs. You like the toxic, chaotic BLs and I prefer BLs where the couple can actually COMMUNICATE. Period. 😭

All shade, some of these comments are giving HATER 😭. I really think Knot’s biggest problem was that they tried to fit what could’ve easily been two seasons into one. Nakhin/Ongsa, Naphitch/Sangnuea, and especially the whole father “I NEED TO FIND THE PURE OMEGA, I NEED TO BECOME THE HOKAGE” storyline 😭 could’ve ALL been saved and properly developed in season 2. Season 1 should’ve focused mainly on Nakhun and Phatsa, because their relationship and family situation were already enough to carry the season. And I’m sorry, but some of y’all calling Knot terrible while enjoying Don’t Be Too Emotional… baby, I’m looking at some of you who i seen give DBTE a 10 a LITTLE sideways 😭 because THAT was a mess.

This drama is not that bad the way everyone in the comments is making it out to be. As someone who’s been watching BL since the beginning. I’ve definitely seen worse. The writing does become lazy maybe around 10-11 but everything else’s has been beautiful and perfect. I would say one of the greatest BL of all time.
