If I could have given it no star

This is the worst drama of William Chan to be honest. The storyline is boring and very similar to short and cheap short dramas on Douyin and Facebook. Many scenes are copied from short sitcoms on Douyin, for eg. no limit credit card scene, she blocked me on social media and countless other scenes. Creativity of this drama is at its worst. This drama has become so fake to watch. I watched so many sitcoms on Douyin and Cdramas, so I can tell.

A good watch

Amidst a Snowstorm of Love delivers a gentle, emotionally satisfying romance that excels in atmosphere and longing. The leads share good chemistry, and the wintry setting heightens intimacy and vulnerability. While the pacing occasionally drags and conflicts feel understated, the sincerity shines through. It’s a comforting, character-driven story with memorable moments, tender dialogue, and a quietly hopeful message about timing, growth, and choosing love.

Good historical drama

Novoland: Pearl Eclipse is a captivating historical fantasy drama that impressed me with its rich emotional storytelling. The chemistry between the leads, Yang Mi and William Chan, was compelling and heartfelt. I especially appreciated the complex character development. The stunning cinematography and costume design added depth to the immersive setting. Though the pacing lagged slightly in the middle, the gripping political intrigue and poignant personal journeys made up for it. Overall, it’s a beautifully crafted series that blends romance, sacrifice, and power with elegance. I highly recommend it to C-drama fans.

Good storyline

Will Love in Spring is a beautifully crafted C-drama that left a lasting impression on me. The storytelling is heartfelt, blending romance, growth, and emotional healing in a way that feels genuine and touching. The leads make the journey feel real and deeply moving. The cinematography is elegant, with soft tones and a poetic atmosphere that enhance the mood of the story. I especially appreciated the character development—watching the protagonists evolve individually and together was rewarding. This drama isn’t just about love; it’s about timing and fate. Truly a tender, thoughtful experience worth watching. My taste is always a good storyline plus comedy sense. So I like this drama.

Second chance in life and healing

Love Song in Winter really surprised me with how emotionally deep it was. I expected a typical romance, but what I got was a heartfelt story about second chances, healing, and unresolved trauma. Jiang Chengyi and Lu Yan’s complicated past gave their reunion so much weight, and I found myself rooting for them the entire time. The mystery subplot added just enough suspense without overshadowing the emotional core. The pacing was slow in places, but it worked for the tone. Overall, I really connected with the characters and their journey — it’s a quiet, touching drama that stayed with me.

I like the casts and 1990s background

I recently finished watching See Her Again, and while it wasn’t perfect, I’d say it was a solid, emotionally engaging drama that kept me watching until the end.
William Chan gave a grounded performance, showing his confusion, guilt, and desperation as he tried to reconnect with the people he lost and catch up with a world that moved on without him. The theme of regret and longing was strong and pretty relatable. Production-wise, it looked good. The flashbacks to the '90s were nostalgic without being too flashy. The pacing, though, could’ve been better — some episodes dragged, and a few plot twists felt forced or overly dramatic. Also, a couple of side characters lacked depth and felt like they were just there to move the plot along.
Still, See Her Again had enough heart and suspense to keep me invested. It's not groundbreaking, but it’s a decent watch.

A healing drama

This drama is really good. Good casts, good storyline, good scenery. It is moving and touching and tells a lot about life that we can learn. The female lead is good, the male lead is a bit better and more natural. The relationship between villagers, friends, the sense of community, everything blends well together.

It is funny and romantic. It makes you feel butterflies in your stomach

Zhang Ruonan and Chen Xingxu were excellent in this movies. Chemistry between the leads was good, but I feel a bit more from Zhang Guonan. She immersed into the character. She is sincere, honest and down to earth even in her acting. I can pretty much see her with the same personalities as a person. Chen Xingxu was a bit awkward sometimes, but he then remedied at the end. The whole casts were good, which contributed to the success of this drama. The hugs of the main leads in many scenes feel wholesome.

It is worth to rewatch

I have to write this review due to the love for the couple who were main leads. Their chemistry is insane that conveys the story very well. Well done to the whole casts too. My favourite drama. Zhang Guonan never disappoints me when I decide to watch her dramas. William Chan maintains his high bar in acting. Well done to the crew!
