That's subjective because I've seen overly eager shippers already for these two even if they just said they're…
Please.. I know a bit of Korean so I sometimes read how korean fangirls act. His fandom is not on that crazy side but there are still outliers, I have seen some act so controlling over him that they're mad about haircuts and outfits. What more about female costars etc?
Even if this was true, crying is a part of acting? The king also cried almost every instance
Dude he always looks like he's shitting when he's crying! if you're moved by that i have many facebook reels you can watch because i had to skip through those long ass commercial ass acting
Would you stand by if you saw someone just mindlessly killing people? She's not even overidealistic, she was saying…
They're not carrying out justice and they're not doing it out of sense of duty and morality. You clearly have rose colored lenses if you view it that way. They were doing out of their selfish reasons! They weren't killing those men so the world can be better, they were killing them so they can fulfill their hunger and ascend lmao.
That's like saying snakes are doing good by eating rats. Whatever culture you have it's clearly influenced with how you view the world because you put these fictional deities above human rights. Do a world a favor and never become a lawyer and just go worship whatever deity you believe in
The start with 9.2% was really good, so it's a real shame that the series barely improved. And only twice over…
They barely promoted which was disappointing the production company has still little connections I suspect. Factor in the political stuff happening so other shows even paused their broadcast.
Would you stand by if you saw someone just mindlessly killing people? She's not even overidealistic, she was saying…
It doesn't matter if they were bad or good, in the eyes of other people those men have done nothing wrong and if someone saw the appearance of Yoon Gap in a possible crime scene then he's toast! That's the point. And who even assigned them to carry out punishment against bad people? As far as I know that's not their job at all. In fact, Palcheokgwi was mad at the imoogi because he ignored how their village was ransacked. They were being reckless! Didn't you see the scene where Kangcheoli was out on the road at night in the open? And again, it doesn't matter that at that point they weren't being caught yet because if she let them continue then they'll just become sloppier and more reckless as the time went on. There was a scene where the men were already suspicious about unnatural deaths hence, they had the talismans made, unlike those two brothers they aren't dumb and have been seeing the patterns. You're focused on specifics while I'm pointing out the principle of it all. If those two brothers get caught it's not them both who gets the punishment, it's just Kangcheoli because he's human. Then what? The mother will bear the burden of having a criminal son while Bibi can be free. Did Bibi even think about that? He's the idiot one in the scenario by putting his own brother in danger. You're thinking of them as some vigilante heroes when in fact they're acting like stupid boys who think they can get away with things they are doing.
I'm so frustrated with Yeo-ri's overidealistic nature that I can't even put it into words. Bibi eating the bad…
Would you stand by if you saw someone just mindlessly killing people? She's not even overidealistic, she was saying that if they were doing the killing spree don't openly do it as human because Kangcheol was in his human form and he can still be seen, be under the law. So, what then if they get caught and there are witnesses? The king will be put under scrutiny if he doesn't punish a wrongdoings. She's saying to those two brothers don't be fucking dumb because they're putting other people they know in an awkward situation.
Personally think Bona is a good actress but I feel like she rarely has strong chemistry with her co stars.
That's subjective because I've seen overly eager shippers already for these two even if they just said they're friends and don't even have a lot of content together. They will likely not interact as much after this especially since he has an album to promote and fangirls to fanservice
Already clocked how they had little budget, but it was so obvious in the final episode. I also already made it known how I don't like this show's fight scenes and yet they keep putting it in as if it's something impressive. The fake grunting and fake rage the male characters do when they're doing the action scenes take me out of the immersion. If they knew they had a tight budget and they're not that great with the fight scenes, why put so many? I was here for the shamanism of the heroine and the ghost, and the writer reduced that for the possession and fight scenes OVER AND OVER. They could've done the possession and storytelling reveal of the Palcheokgwi when they acquired the book but no they had to kill the queen and make some elaborate possession scene for the king when he had like 3 other scenes already where he yells and shakes at air. I would've liked to see how Yeori summoned the underworld spirit before she faced off Palcheokgwi and yet they didn't include it!
Unlike the others, I don't think this show needed to be shorter in fact they should've done another episode or at least paced it better so there was time for what was missing in the finale. They had a great thing going with the ML and FL's relationship but after all that build up they suddenly did not want to develop it? They're lucky the future scene they had was adorable but it felt like cheating to immediately show that.
This was also in the post that someone demanded I put the spoiler tag on. Scenes that ppl call boring fillers…
I'm confused what is lacking? Do you want the character Yeori to be comedic like Kangcheol even though that's not the personality? She's not going to be overly feminine or put on some aegyo that's so cringe bro. I wouldn't want that on my kdrama. She's not going to be shouty and emotional like the queen dowager or the king because it wouldn't be right since she's a lowly commoner. The material given was that she's the brain of the trio and therefore calm and collected. She shows grief and despair when the scene asks for it. Overacting and shouting doesn't mean better. I actually hope the other actors take notes from other countries' style of acting and stop with the exaggerated execution
Every time the two men act "angry" this Noah Schnapp clip is what they're giving unfortunately (x. com/rafesboy/status/ 1928991886645027024 )
I wish Sungjae's agency invested more money into this since they're the main production company producing this. The directing/production really is the weakest point of the show because eventually I didn't find the filler episodes bothersome anymore. I don't think it's dragged on as we got something out of every episode but the choices of the director with the delivery and execution were questionable.
The animation scenes for Imoogi tasting food for the first time could've been shorter. The king's rage scenes should've been less so there was more impact when it does happen. The fight scene coverages/cuts are so haphazardly put together? The ML and FL are great together so why cut those scenes short? The FL is great with the melo scenes and the possession scenes too. The voice change surprised me! I wish she was given more of those scenes. The king's highlights are with the gentle scenes and not the times with the 8ft spirit because that looked a little low budget:( Sungjae's good with the comedic scenes too, not a lot on the action scenes but again most of these things are the director's choices as I saw how controlled and rehearsed things were in the behind the scenes making.
THE MUSIC is missing! A lot of scenes could have been improved with the right score but here it's so absent? Where is the budget :(
It's still mostly entertaining tbh and that's the important part. Sometimes something can be so well-done but still be boring.

That's a better outcome, right? At least one survived?
