I think Lin Mei is just trying to live up to her family’s toxic standards. In today’s episode, she even lied about where the food came from because she didn’t want to be judged by people who can barely afford meat. It feels less like intentional harm and more like someone who’s terrified of being looked down on.And as for Fang Mujing I think she is starting to become more open and comfortable and I'm loving that for her.

Tomorrow’s episode is going to send me through the roof, because WHY is Ling Yi so unbelievably jobless every single time she shows up? I’m tired. isn't she like a university student, and she does it while knowing the ML already knows her secret. The audacity is insane.And now Feini is about to get dragged for something she didn’t even do, just because she tried to help her brother. For WHAT? Her brother is so painfully clueless it’s embarrassing. Even his own wife had to remind him that Feini got him the job. How do you forget that? How do you function like that? It’s actually ridiculous.And don’t even get me started on his wife’s family. That sister‑in‑law needs to sit down and stop talking like she’s the smartest person in the room when she’s not even close. The way she keeps tearing down her own husband while pretending she’s being strategic? It’s delusional. I’m genuinely baffled at how these characters keep getting away with this nonsense.
