K-Drama They must have had so much fun filming this!
The ‘plot’ follows Saam, a quirky, sensitive and frankly bizarre young man (played by Max) and Jam a stoic, pragmatic realist (played by Nat) as they navigate their way from polar opposites to soul mates.
I’m afraid I didn’t take this too seriously as a Rom com as quite frankly, it’s more of a weirdly funny parody of a Rom com. Max spends his time winking and acting like a child playing dress up while jam looks on confused and mildly baffled. The first 10 episodes do have a plot - their journey to love - but the last two are more of a PWP excuse for lots of steamy nakedness with a couple of unresolved sub plots thrown in for good measure.
Highly amusing in an odd way but it’s a creative way to enjoy this fanship.
Would I watch again? Probably not but there were a couple of spectacularly goofy scenes that had me chuckling loudly and wondering how on exactly how many takes were needed as I imagine they spent an awful lot of time corpsing at Saam’s antics.
