Basically DWY’s author was pressed about PTTP being a switch couple, for her it had to be TeeTeepor. She was one of the main reasons they decided to be fixed as TTP. Fuck that author bro cause for me it will always be PorTeeTeePor.
This is for the people who are saying Qin is trying too hard to cry in the last scene.
From P’Kla, director of DWY- The reason Qin doesn’t fully break down in tears is that he still finds it very difficult to cry, due to the trauma buried deep inside. But Duang has been able to open up emotionally, and he will support Qin all the way
In this scene, Por has to hold back, yet still let his emotions show, completely conflicted back and forth. At the same time, Qin is struggling to release his own feelings. It’s extremely difficult to portray such subtle details, but the fact that Qin is able to express this much emotion is already remarkable
In the end, Qin will experience everything fully when the time comes. Please keep cheering him on
I understand and respect that this is your personal opinion, but I think Duang’s character might be getting…
1. If that one moment defines his entire character, then you’re ignoring how his behaviour changes afterward. He starts with ‘curiosity’, but quickly learns boundaries and respects Qin’s space. The conversation between him and his friends talking about difference between stalking and pursuing already said a lot.
2. Simplicity at the beginning doesn’t mean lack of depth - it often just means the story chooses to develop complexity over time rather than explain it upfront.
3. Duang isn’t being passive - he’s adapting. He knows Qin isn’t emotionally open yet, so instead of forcing communication, he allows space. That’s conscious approach, not a lack of dignity. Calling it “too much tolerance” kind of overlooks the fact that he understands the situation better than the audience judging him.
I think he values himself enough to not force a place in someone’s life where he hasn’t been invited yet. It’s interesting how patience is often interpreted as lack of self-respect, when it can actually come from a place of emotional security.
I m sorry guysI love nothing and it s just my personal opinion, but I respect your votes. The Acting is not so…
I understand and respect that this is your personal opinion, but I think Duang’s character might be getting misinterpreted here. His behaviour isn’t about lacking dignity or being ‘puppet-like’ - it reflects emotional awareness and respect for boundaries.
Duang knows that Qin is not someone who opens up easily, and since they are not officially in a relationship yet, he consciously chooses not to overstep or impose his opinions. That doesn’t make him submissive; it shows that he doesn’t feel entitled to Qin’s life at this stage.
What may look like ‘adoration’ is actually patience and understanding. He prioritizes Qin’s comfort, listens more than he speaks, and allows Qin to move at his own pace. In many ways, that’s healthier and more realistic portrayal of love than forcing closeness or control.
Of course, this kind of subtle and quiet expression of love may not resonate for everyone, but that doesn’t make the writing or acting weak - it simply means the storytelling style is different.
At this point, I will not be surprised if the rating will reach 10, cause this series legit DESERVES it! But it really makes me emotional as a person who saw PorTeeTeePor growing since day 1 and its rare to see a bl series receiving a rating of 9 (Even though we all know we cannot trust mdl ratings) but for this series, TRUST ME when i say this, IT REACHED THAT LEVEL!
I thought I would scream but instead I went completely silent. It might sound exaggerated but I actually stopped breathing for few seconds. I am not sane right now guys. I think my soul is leaving the body.
I actually understand why some people find Duang a bit too much and he’s definitely not everyone’s type of character but i like the way he loves whole heartedly without trying to look cool or perfect and I find that hard not to appreciate.
I get the secondhand embarrassment sometimes too but his sincerity makes up for it. And that’s why I’ve grown attached to him.
You don’t have to find him cute but I think his character is written with a lot of heart. He’s just someone who loves very openly and that makes me want to root for him.
Maybe he is a bit over the top but he is harmless and sincere. Characters like that usually grow on me.
Fuck that author bro cause for me it will always be PorTeeTeePor.
‘Slop’ with a 9 rating….. yeah that must really hurt
Because for you, Complexity = better rating, Right?
People enjoyed it. That’s why it is rated 9. It’s not that deep.
Just enjoy your show and move on!
