I liked the FL too. . She was really good in Blossom and Immortal Samsara.... She had the potential to pull off JTH character and I was eagerly waiting for her role in this drama.

That's true too... Some of the novels feel rather dragged and unnecessarily long with repetitive. But this one was precise and plot wasn't draggy. Overall story was really good and uniquely charming.... It's just the drama to the end got strange with blocks of unrelated plots different from the novel getting added and completely changing the original storyline....

Exactly, the novel was thrilling and kept the readers hooked to the plot till end.... So really had great expectations for the drama after the lead actors was announced... The script writers really ruined the novel plot and.... If the characters were grown as per novel, the actors would have done an awesome job and it would have been so worthful and good to watch the drama 🎭.
The ML & FL actors are promising and made such a good couple. They could have easily pulled off the complex characters of original SZY & JTH. It would have been so good as per the book.
It would have made made the best drama, if the script had followed the original Book. The book was much more interesting and a lot more captivating with intriguing twists, political plots. I really loved the author's original story and was eagerly looking forward to the drama for a year, only to get disinterested and disappointed as the episodes went by with cliches and regular dramatic moments
This drama really didn't touch even the base of SZY and JTH original characters in the book. Both of their characters are strong and both were schemers' fighting for mutual benefit while the bond developed in background step by step. Comparing the Original Work of the author and the story in the drama, makes me want to cry. There were so many game changing moments in the book, the fight for throne, the war between the three countries, the real identity of the fourth prince and SZY, Even the JTH's master. Sigh... It's really disappointing... except for the names and few other scenes, there is nothing remotely related to the Book. Instead of saying adaption, it is more of fanfiction taking inspiration from the book. 😬😑
