yea, the plot is seriously confusing.i was this close to crafting a whole theory where rui is actually JL in disguise and would later awaken as the dragon deity, but then he shows up with pointed ears and a fox form. like, what even is he now? a dragon?. a fox spirit? an elf? my entire theory just collapsed in an instant 😵‍💫
