And the way the director said tht pp discussing abt jisoo acting skills shows tht she was a good cast for the role cause the character has to have impact, but pp are talking abt the actor not the character!! So whats the point? He doesn’t said anytime tht he wants the character to be well portrayed, only tht it needs to get attention

I didnt ridicule anything, i said fans using the word ‘misoginy’ in contexts where the criticism is in fact constructive and not just bcause shes ‘succesfull’ and it isnt abt her being a women is harmful to the movement, cause you all dont give a damn abt misoginy, you blinks are known to be an actively misoginistic fandom tht degrade every female in the korean industry and then pull the ‘misoginy’ word to justify anything your favs do, even if its problematic.

You blinks using misoginy to any and every constructive or real criticism of your favs is so unhelpful and selfish for the pp and movement tht fights misoginy. Not to add its insanely hypocritical when all their songs are abt internalized misoginy and female competition often paired with a man being the trophy and the objective. And blinks are really famous for attacking every female idol in existence.

In reality putting someone with great acting skills and therefore charisma/presence, would bring more attention. And to point out, pp talking about and paying attention to the actor bad skills, is different from talking abt the character he is portraying, its jisoo name thts being mentioned. This shows how he dont even have respect for the character, hes basically saying he made his job and thts it.

if you havent seen her voice in depth you dont know it enough to say its nothing special .
She has a pretty voice, a low register, but her company is known for having a specific type of singing tht some pp gets annoyed with, plus they usually change the songs to two tones higher than their original composition, thts why some idols look like they are straining their voice, cause they literally are above the comfortable range.

You said you dont know her and only has a beef with the industry but called her a mediocre kpop star, shes actually in a group known for their performance, charisma and expressions on stage, shes not mediocre just cause shes an idol. Second, do you really think she hasn’t done an audition? This is a drama with top actors, renowned for their acting, they wouldn’t simply put someone without potential on it.
