I do agree that, from the viewer’s perspective, watching Alan agonize about everything that was happening to him was uncomfortable. I do think that it could have been written better (in that respect), and I hope no one IRL ever gets manipulated like that. Having said that though, I think the story, the acting, & the hospital setting combined into a good show for me. I enjoyed the experience of watching it. I hope others give it a chance, despite our differing opinions. 🙂

I cried!!😢

Nil & Alex did reveal that they had shown Alan the video a few other times prior to the finale. My thought is that maybe he reacted badly to the revelation & they were trying to hold off because when he took the higher dose of medication, then he was calmer. Just a guess though. I really loved this show & cried for Alan during the finale.
