I agree this series has flaws (I've been commenting about the directing and scriptwriting too), but it feels overhated and ppl who dislikes the actors are weirdly hate watching it
Like, I found TNP's flaws in other dramas too, and it's not that bad since I've seen worse than this
So Khanin just want a ordinary life? Kinda disappointed. I wanted him to be the next ruler and stay here
He said it since the beginning that he came to Emmaly to know about the truth about his father, it's expected that he doesn't want to be one of the royals
Here's the thing, I love angst and toxic yaoi, but Ramil and Paytai is merely a bad written yaoi. After all those redemption episodes, Ramil is back to square one. Not even toxic yaoi manhwas with mid sadistic seme were this bad.
Ep 12 is so good, and it makes me realize that this series has comic relief side kick character that has personality, not only there to be funny, we can see how caring Chakri is.
Though, IMO the story feels like neglecting Charan since Ep 8. Like, yes, he's everywhere but we didn't see his POV or how he's coping his trauma. I hope the next Ep will give more story about Charan.
Khanin just found out about the mining problems a few episodes ago. At the protest he said he was going to make…
Thank you for explaining it.
Seems like all the holes in the series could be explained if I read the novel, but I'm watching the series, the screenwriter and directors shouldn't put so many sub plots from the novel if they only have 14 episodes and can't portrayed it very well, novel and drama series are two different medias, if I've to read the novel to understand the drama series that I watch, then I would only read the novel in the first place instead of watching the drama 😔
I really love this series but it has so many sub plots and planting, while the episodes are only 14
They should have focused on the succession war and Assavadevathin's mine if they don't have at least 20 episodes
The story didn't show how serious Khanin's handling the mine problem (maybe I missed it, but I don't even know what kind of mine that Assavadevathin has), Ramil doesn't have more story about his redemption so it feels jumpy, they didn't show Ava's struggles as the only girl except having a dumb father, we still don't know who kills Charan's mother and everything that Charan knows, Paytai always smiling everytime Ramil's going crazy in earlier episodes (implied he's manipulative, which is good bcs we need THE toxic yaoi oty) but now he acts like a real victim, the grandfather was so evil in earlier episodes, he's even a classist that didn't want Khanin to be with Charan bcs Charan wasn't a royal like them, but now he doesn't bat an eye, and looks like he's gonna be betrayed in a foolish way ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
What a WILD comment. The love scene in episode 10 was pure ART in every sense of the form.
I'm not saying it's bad, it's just, for me, feels theatrical and not as good as ep 7. I could see how good the actors' acting are; their passionate kisses and eyes full of love. The directors are the problem.
The problem isn’t the singing — it’s the one who’s singing it. Imagine being at a protest against a regime…
I agree. The singing would works if TNP has more ep that give clear statements about how Khanin didn't see himself as one of Assavadevathins like in ep 9 and despise the king, then not ended with only singing but really taking care the mine problems. But there are only 4 eps left and next ep will be about the competition and the truth about his and charan's mothers death, there's no space for Khanin's development in mine problems sub plot 🥲
The love scenes on ep 7 is so beautiful yet ep 8 and ep 10 is kinda a downgrade, it feels so theatrical or maybe only works for photoshoot.
All the actors did a great job, but the directors are bad at directing it, they're the one who's responsible to make it pleasant and believable. I could feel the hunger and good build up when the actors kissing, too bad the directors weren't capable enough to direct love scenes.
I hope these actors got a better director and script for their next drama.
I rarely watch thai BL so excuse my opinion, I used to mute thai BL when there's a conflict, love scenes, etc bcs the bgm makes me cringed, but this one has the best scoring music. It really give more tension, like when Khanin has a beef w/ his grandpa or seducing Charan
