I haven't even watched it, but I can relate… The same happened in "The Longest Promise". The series was a total failure because of Ren Min, not even Xiao Zhan managed to save it. I don't know why they keep insisting on this actress, her acting skills are terrible. I drop everything with her.

I just finished Everlasting Longing and I highly recommend it! The FL is Angelababy and the ML Song Wei Long, perfect!

For real, taste it's a very personal thing. I didn't understand the low rating on this drama. I started watching it and I was hooked from the first episode, and I'm picky about dramas. I didn't even like The Legend of the Female General, which everyone is adoring, but I absolutely enjoyed Everlasting Longing. I loved the protagonists. The FL was perfect, mature and didn’t act like a 12 years old, and so the ML. Was my first time watching Song Wei Long, great actor. When I saw the reviews, I almost didn't watch the series, which would be a huge waste because the series is wonderful. The cast is perfect. All the stories are interesting. I loved all the second couples. The actor who plays Luo Zhi Zhou is wonderful. This series delivered many handsome men.

I honestly didn't like it. Firstly, I know it's fiction, but even so, it's hard to swallow that no one noticed that the general was a woman lol… even when she switched to her brother, who is totally different, no one noticed? Come on... apart from that, I think the ML and the antagonist could have their roles switched, because Bai Xu would be much better suited to be the ML, while Ryan Cheng would be better suited being the protagonist's evil brother. I don't feel like continuing to watch.

The Immortal Ascension was my first drama with Yang Yang. I had been planning to watch something with him for a long time and happened the first was this one. I really liked him. he’s very handsome and talented. Maybe not the best actor in China, but definitely skilled. I didn’t read anything about it, not even the sinopses and at first, I thought the series would be a bromance… I think I was the only one fooled by the story with Li Yi Fei’s character (I got obsessed about him) and even gave it a 10/10 on Viki. But after that, Han Li said goodbye to him and the drama took a completely different direction (to nowhere) 🤡 Honestly, it left me feeling really disappointed. I thik they missed a HUGE opportunity to make something epic like The Untamed or Word of Honor. Despite all of this, I loved the immersion on the Dao and cultivation theme because I like this subject a lot. The OST sometimes was good, sometimes was a kind of thing that got me like wtf and I even muted it

Oh anything with Wu Jinyan I’m in! Meng Zi is also a great and mature actress, I really like her characters

He is unforgettable as Mo Yuan in Eternal Love. His performance was so mesmerizing that I even disliked Ye Hua because I loved Mo Yuan, sometimes I forgot they were the same actor. So damn talented. Miss him in more dramas.

I’m getting to the conclusion that I’m too old for this. I just can’t stand this kind of drama anymore… a great ML played by the one and only Cheng Yi falling in love with a FL who looks about 13 and acts like a 7yo. On top of that, they added that she was born with no senses (lol) as an excuse for her extreme childlike behavior and everyone thinks its cute (?) I was only watching it for Cheng Yi, but before this, I watched Immortal Samsara and MLC, and I can say those are way better than this one. I also watched Ashes of Love and Eternal Love, which are in the same style, but when it comes to the childishness of the FL, Love and Redemption takes the crown. I know it’s because of the plot, that the character will go through development and so on, but it’s really hard to endure until that happens… For now, I’m putting it on hold. I hope I don’t have to drop it.

Eu cheguei ao ponto de odiar o 1ML Xufeng. Fiquei obcecada pelo Run Yu. O Luo Yunxi roubou completamente a cena, eu achei que só eu estava torcendo pelo 2ML, depois descobri que isso aconteceu com todo mundo.
