Am I the only one who liked the 3rd & 4th episodes? ππ It's still entertaining, and I love the cutesy/funny…
I think people who have been following this drama before its airing knows it's been marketed as a crime thriller ROMANCE/black comedy. JYB and JJY even said there's bit of healing in here too.
I didn't care much for ep 3 but I lmao and really enjoyed ep 4. I like the enemies-to-lovers vibe and love their golden retriver x black cat chemistry.
The comedy and romance parts are equally entertaining as the crime and thriller elements. Some of you just need to chill and stop whining about how YOU think the drama should unfold.
As far as I understand, their mother was rich, but when she and the chairman got married, the chairman absorbed…
Yes, it's very interesting! And the chairman's revenge scheme is actually genius. Although he is obligated to leave them their legally mandated share of his money, by marrying Young-ran, he can effectively reduce their share (wife gets the biggest share), delay them acquiring the money, and even disinherit them completely if he can prove that his stepchildren were involved in his daughter's murder ---which I think is one of Young-ran's missions.
Loving the first episode! Logically though I don't get the step-daughter. He's not obligated to leave her anything…
As far as I understand, their mother was rich, but when she and the chairman got married, the chairman absorbed their mother's wealth, I guess? Don't know the conjugal-property laws in SK, but that might have been the case. And I guess he legally adopted them when he married her, so by law he is obligated to leave them inheritance. I think they fear him remarrying because that will significantly lessen their share of the inheritance.
So, is she legally married to Ga Sung Ho or all fake?
she will be legally married to him, i believe. otherwise, she won't have legal hold over his inheritance, and i think that was how the chairman wanted to get his revenge.
really good first episode. laid all the groundwork and ended in a high note that makes you excited for the next one! jang hyun joo is terrifying, can't wait to see more of her evilness
I don't know if it's just what the character is written like, but Yoona's acting is taking me out πππ
Her expressions, delivery, everything seems linear...even in the most emotional highs. It's a romance but it almost feels like the love story is one sided, or unbalanced. Like she's giving 20% and Chae-min the other 80%.
The only scenes where she shines are when she's cooking π₯²
I miss them so much. It feels like I'm grieving something. Just when I think I've moved on, I see an edit of them on Twitter, and it hurts all over again! π
Please gather the courage! It's not nearly as devastating as we initally thought. Yes, we lose her, but she left so much joy and love behind it almost feels like a happy ending. π₯Ή
Damn this was doing so good for me but i MAJORLY disliked that all the ''bad'' characters suddenly had change…
I think those turn-arounds were done very reasonably and realistically. Jaein hated Daeum because she misunderstood her, but now that she knows the reason why she disappeared or why she acts strange sometimes, of course she would feel shameful for how she treated someone who was only doing their best to make the most out of their remaining time.
As for Mr. Bu, he never liked that arrogant investor and was only kissing his ass. I think he was affected by Jeha's sincerity and Daeum's courage, just as the rest of the staff have been.
These redemptions were not done out of nowhere. They were built up from earlier episodes and dialogues, if you really paid attention. In real life, I know that's how things are. There are no real villains who are jealous or greedy just because. There are just weak and hurt human beings who can always find goodness again.
Yeobeen overhyped, overrated??? You must be high on acid???
She is one of the most underrated actresses out there! And what is female-lead material to you? Probably someone who checks all the boxes of Korean beauty standards. And bringing up their Instagram posts? They are promoting the drama; even Min's wife liked those posts. You must truly be a miserable and horrible human being to be saying something like this.
That last scene had me crying hard.I recall early comments were critical of JYB casting, but IMO she is crushing…
Those are just lifeless haters. Anyone who appreciates movies or dramas knows JYB eats all of her roles. I didn't like her initially in Vincenzo too, but she truly won me over, and now I'm a huuuuge fan. Never doubted she would act her heart out for this drama.

Principal only thought of checking when Dongmin suggested it.
Seonyeong is so electrifying as the villain i can't wait to watch more of their bitch offs
the music reminds me some of vincenzo. i like it!
Loved the ending overall but really felt they did the audience a disservice by chalking everything up to "It's not important"
Previously rated this 8.5 but changed it to 8.
