Except all the growth happened off screen and we're just supposed to believe it happened. I've seen more interesting analyses here to explain what is happening than in the show itself. When fans go wild with so many different interpretation, it just means the show is lacking.

Yeah that's what is really annoying with the main couple... Just shows uncertainty from Jae-pil. Even his declaration was meh... I still hope Young-rye will realize this is what she dreamed of, but not really what she needs. Fantasy and reality don't always match.
