not good :/
really good premise that they did absolutely nothing with it.the story of the angel/genie was interesting& they could’ve developed that into so much more but instead it was all done half heartedly. IMO, Suzy’s acting was 10/10 in the emotional scenes and at times she was even comical but I don’t think she ever seemed like a psychopath . the young actor who plays her did it so well but I felt very disconnected with Suzy’s m blank stare/energy. of course she had terrible writing to work with so perhaps she did her best😵💫the acting, overall, was the best part of this show. 5/10.Was this review helpful to you?
could’ve been 12 ep drama
the good things: I simply adored the aunt so much and she’s so beautiful and had some real emotions that made sense to me. googled her Instagram and followed her immediately. this show is just full of pretty people 👍🏽💖 I still say I would’ve cast LSH as Saram bc he has the look for it but that’s just preference.after ep 8, this is very repetitive and it gets very boring. did not like that weird love triangle that revolved around a relationship from when they were 18 years old 😭 like be serious. also a lot of these actors kinda get away with having stunning faces and then not doing much acting :/
the FL not ever breaking down after her diagnosis…no real feelings about that…she showed more emotions when she realized [redacted] would die for her…like???? even when the [redacted] happened and the God said she would react normally to her diagnosis etc she still didn’t have many emotions about it. I get it, different strokes for different folks but it gets to a point….<<<<<<
would I recommend? yeah, I mean I enjoyed like 8 eps of this so it’s not bad and I finished without being deeply deeply bored but you can skip eps 9-14, and still not miss much.

hard beginning but proves to be an excellent watch nonetheless
I wrote a comment after episode 4 that I was having a hard time connecting to the show and finding my footing but the acting and chemistry were so good that I continued. I am so glad I did!!! this is a really lovable show!! the acting is so good and not cringe, even with the topic matter.I saw the high reviews here and kept wondering what I was missing since I didn’t like the show at all in the beginning but wow 🤯
the only thing I would change here is the slow beginning, & Sian’s eyebrow and hair combo—just…ugly .

solid family drama
I did not care about the younger couple even though they were healthy and cute. the mom and dad story was so good to watch 🥹 I just love when older people love each other despite all the struggles! very good of the mom to put her kids first until the dad took some responsibility! even towards the end it’s not cliche and she still chooses herself! very nicely written. Kim jisoo is so charming and talented, I could watch her do anything. idk if I would necessarily rewatch but I would definitely recommend as an easy, well-written drama with a lot of very talented and interesting side characters and phenomenal leads.Was this review helpful to you?

Promising but doesn’t pack a punch.
the story is good but then it doesn’t tie together at all and everything just happens very quickly towards the end. like if the man who went to jail had evidence of the girl’s crimes why wouldn’t he show it as evidence to get a lighter sentence??? the main leads have chemistry but there’s no clear point where they develop feelings and then suddenly “Will you marry me?” like huh??? no character development for the male lead. he says “I don’t trust women” bc of his horrible ex wife and then they don’t dig deeper at all 😭😭 it was a mini series when it should’ve had 16 eps.Was this review helpful to you?

strong start, jumbled middle and poor finish
this started off so good but the moment things between the leads started to look a little TOO good during like ep 4 I knew it was about to be some bs. first off, I would like to compliment the cast for their amazing chemistry and performance. truly the highlight of this story.I’m not sure who decided to have a cheating arc and have the guy be absolutely horrible and then said “let’s give him some credit and redeem him and the woman he cheated with.” I don’t think they should’ve been stoned or anything but as a viewer I don’t need to see THAT many scenes about them and their marriage problems 😭 especially when it distracted from the main couple so much.
the reason why the main couple didn’t work out for so many eps was also ridiculous in my opinion. they should’ve just stuck to the classic of building up their romance and gave us a true relationship for the last quarter instead of this mess.
don’t hate it, I would love to see this pairing together again in a more interesting and better written drama.
