It was a terrible first episode. Being a former athlete and a police officer, how can the male lead appear so…
Boxing champs (and all Olympians and all police officers) aren't always highly intellectual. The story is set in an action COMEDY genre. Even Extreme Job, an axtion comedy movie, taps into that. The story ends happily. Just enjoy the ride. Also, if I may say, Dongju exposed the culprit in ep 2. That needs some level of spatial intelligence as a boxer and perseverance.
I don’t know why the reviews are so bad. I enjoyed this drama till the last second 10/10
Enjoyed it too, and re watching! To each his own. Can't please everybody. Even the highest rated dramas have bad reviews. Besides, 8.4% apparently liked the exhilaration in the drama.
It disappointed me... I thought it was primarily a sports drama... I can't keep watching a detective series without…
ML actually followed FL because he saw her arguing with her mom. And as the description implies, they traded their medals for police IDs to capture criminals so they used their specific skills to do such.
Sorry to disagree. The romance added spice to the action comedy drama. But that's me. Do watch the clips on sns.…
Yeah, the plot leaves you no time to breathe. So the clips on sns helped me pause also. Overall, an exhilarating ride. I highly recommend that you re watch from ep1 for the sheer enjoyment. Itis still fun for me.
I think even with the drama being set at 12 ep only, there will still be complaints about the plot. No satisfaction whatsoever. Like, that the development is not enough and such. With 16 ep, some thinks it's draggy already. For me, it is enough esp. because there are 5 Olympians to weave into the story. They have brilliantly blended all themes together and it makes you think. Like I said, one has to balance fiction with reality, and the past with present. The plot leaves a lot of thoughts to the viewers, which is mentally challenging, which is why it could be boring to some who wants all the answers explicitly stated in the plot but for me, it's exhilarating. I just wished I binge watched this so I could be spared from the weekly agony of thinking. Plot for me is 8/10. Everything from acting to comedy to directing to cinematography is 100/10. Awesome series.
the front was draggy, but towards the end it was ok. almost dropped it but I took it slow and watched it 2~3 eps…
Binge watching the series is actually recommended. I hoped I waited for it to finish instead of agonizing every week. The plot is really fast paced. It races your brain cells.
The drama acknowledge the constant rise of evil in the finale.
It's a fast paced plot that leaves the viewers filling in the blanks as the conversations advance. Like, since Min Ju Yeong stated that he financed the jury/prosecutor before, it is possible that they wanted him killed (w/c by the way, happens in reality). As MJY stated, evil will always be there. If elaboration is given in all occassions, it would take 100 episodes to fulfill everything. Even then, it will not be enough.
Repetive plot? Nah. Only highlights reality. The helplessness I feel everytime they're defeated. Otherwise, all crimes are solved in an instant. The ending gives an attack on titans finale meaning tho. Evil never ends. Plot weaves reality with fiction. Fast paced tho.
A fitting review I found in the navet news, korea: Behind the exhilaration of hero stories, there is a lingering message that we must ponder. In a world where all sorts of foul play and unscrupulousness prevail, even if they are torn apart and broken, Yun Dong-ju and the 'Good Avengers' maintained their good will to the end, hoping to look up to the sky without a single shame. They were not born good, but tried to live good lives, and they proved the value of getting back up after falling countless times, not just winning with a single KO. They did not waver even in the face of death row inmate Min Ju-young's cynicism that "the world will never change as long as there is money and greed" because they believed that "if someone like you shows up again, someone like me will do the same thing." Even if the torch dies out and memories fade, the hearts of all of us who were so passionate that day still cry out and beat powerfully inside us. 'Good Boy' never lets go of that passion, leaving behind the hottest and most profound answer to the question of 'what is justice'.
He was in the process of getting one. My theory is, he has already been disposed by those he thought would help him before the trial even begins as he will surely expose all of them including the jury. He said so himself, they received money from them. With everything exposed, he's already as good as nothing. People are worthless in the face of greed and power. It is a drama that makes you think and fill in by actually listening to the conversations, which makes it an exhilarating series. Fast paced, and leaves you thinking for the entire month.
