Celebrity
This was just my kind of BL to watch ??
My Review After Watching Nour:
*Rating: 9/10 - MUST WATCH*
*1. Plot:*
It's NOT a normal BL. It's a *crime + fantasy + BL*.
James (Boss) is a young, hot-headed cop hunting a serial arson case, then he meets Captain Ken (Tongtong). everything makes sense now, Everyone is connected by the case and you don't know who is the victim, or who is the criminal.
It starts as investigation, then gets supernatural / fate-bound. Like "our destinies are tied together after that day." That red string in the poster = fate.
*2. Acting:*
Boss and Tongtong's first time pairing but their chemistry is CRAZY. Boss as James is so intense, and Tongtong as Ken is that cold, mysterious captain vibe. The other 4 — Jirad, Chita, Paemin, Ren — they are not just side couples, they all have secrets.
*3. What I loved:*
- Production by WeTV x TaiLai is top-tier. Dark red tone, cinematic shots, not cheap.
- Story keeps twisting. Every episode you think you know who did it, then NOPE.
- It's 50% thriller, 50% romance. You get the tension AND the soft moments.
*4. What could be better:*
Some episodes in the middle drag a bit with the investigation, and the fantasy part could be explained more. But the finale pays off.
*Final Verdict:*
If you want fluffy school BL, this is NOT it. If you want *KinnPorsche / Manner of Death / Shine* vibes — dark, sexy, dangerous, with a story you actually have to think about — Nour is just the right kind of BL for me!!.
