Every argument feels so condescending. Honestly, I’m speechless at this kind of mindset — “I’m grown up so I don’t watch romance movies” — it’s hilarious.

politics and espionage is just a tag, not even a genre. Can you even tell the difference, or are you just being condescending for no reason?

Are you scared of me calling you out or something? Is that why you’re using that condescending tone? Like, just because you’ve watched a couple of other genres, you think you can look down on romance films and act like you know it all. Let me tell you this — don’t impose your own mindset on a film that hasn’t even aired yet, kid. That’s way too narrow-minded.

If possible, let’s be friends, buddy. If you ever have trouble, I’ll step in to help, because honestly, I absolutely can’t stand those arrogant drama fans.

Then go watch films without romance — there are plenty. But there are also lots of action+romance ones like Healer or Vagabond.

Since when is romance not supposed to be in action or thriller films? That’s such a one-sided view, and there’s no standard for that at all. First time watching a dark romance?

What do you mean by “similar”? It’s normal for summaries to sound alike — what matters is that the stories themselves are told differently and aren’t actually the same.

I think having a loveline actually makes the show better and more human, so when you say it’s best not to have one, that’s just your subjective opinion.

Both of them got out of a toxic relationship and healed, which is already wonderful. Not to mention, their chemistry when standing next to each other feels so warm, which also adds to the atmosphere of the drama, so the loveline is by no means a bad thing.

Why are some people who watch thriller or action movies so condescending? Thrillers and action films have had lovelines for a long time, and that has regularly happened in Western TV series since ages ago. So why do they keep saying that having a loveline makes a movie bad? There are plenty of Korean shows with great lovelines, like Knight Flower, Flex x Cop, Moving, The Glory, Daily Dose of Sunshine, Chief Detective 1958, or in 2025, two top rated works like Buried Heart and Resident Playbook, and even two ongoing ones with very good lovelines Low Life and The Winning Try. In this movie, the chemistry between the male and female leads is also excellent they’re both wounded, in love, and come to heal each other so what’s wrong with that?

She seemed upset with Garam because he abandoned her. Feeling abandoned and falling into a state of uncertainty and failure, she kept wondering if Garam had left because she was not good enough (as mentioned at the end of episode 6). Out of that sense of inferiority, she withdrew into herself and endured the three teachers, simply because she now needed this coaching job to make a living. So, I don’t think she’s too much to blame, my friend.

Their chemistry is so good that it would be quite a pity if they ended up just friends when the drama ends.

In Korea, people criticize the drama’s loveline, even though I think the two have great chemistry. Some also say the drama is heavy and hard to watch, which I find quite hard to understand
