It’s so weird when people go into straight romance shows demanding GL. And besides, same-sex relationships can be toxic too, not always good like you make them out to be

The drama pushes the secondary couple, who showed up later, and they still end up canon. Meanwhile, the main couple has so many good hints and great chemistry but nothing? Since when is a boss-subordinate relationship that affectionate? A real boss-subordinate dynamic should be like the male lead and Ms. Kwon.

Whether there’s a loveline or not doesn’t necessarily determine if the drama is good, so don’t act like a loveline would ruin the whole show.

It’s really disappointing that the main couple didn’t become canon even though the story was filled with loveline hints, but in the end, nothing happened. That’s why I feel the show isn’t truly complete.

If from the very beginning they were just partners, it would’ve been different. But instead, every episode kept dropping hints of romance, only for nothing to come out of it. Honestly, looking at the way they gaze at each other and interact, calling them “just partners” sounds ridiculous, doesn’t it? The story would’ve felt complete if there was a loveline.

And what’s wrong if a thriller action show has a loveline? Does that somehow make it wrong, that the anti-romantics have to protest against it?

That’s wrong, because if a show already has a loveline tag, it clearly means romance is part of the story. Yet they still come in screaming and criticizing—doesn’t that just seem pathetic? It’s like someone walking into your own house and calling you “the extra.” Wouldn’t you be mad?

Watch fewer feminist movies—who’s really the fool here? How is she supposed to fight when she has no rights? She sacrificed herself for her student—was that wrong? And you, have you ever been abandoned by the one you love the most right when you needed them the most?

I’m worried that by the time season 2 comes out, it might end up like Flex x Cop where the female lead couldn’t participate in the second season (though the writer already confirmed there will be a loveline in season 2). But since this drama has really good ratings, a second season is quite possible. Honestly, the loveline in this series is built up even more than in many pure romance dramas.

It’s quite a pity if the drama doesn’t have a loveline. From the tea scene (the color of the tea, Hyomin sharing about her ex), the way they care for each other like when Hyomin’s blood was wiped, to the coffee and then beer scenes — all of these are very clear hints, much clearer than in Flex x Cop or My Mister that you guys mentioned. That’s why I hope there will be a loveline.
