"it's a breath of fresh air" is the most horrible expression that people insist on using on this site.
Not when it's genuinely true. It's insanely progressive for the Thai BL industry to finally break the norms of basic college or colleagues plot and here you all are hating on the show after watching only the first two episodes.
Khemjira is not only fantastic as a BL series but it's also pushing Thai culture, it's insane that you people insist on hating it.
If you got Felix, it means youâre someone whose warmth and kindness are immediately apparent to others. You naturally make people feel safe and supported, and your empathetic nature allows you to sense when someone needs comfort or reassurance. Like Felix, you might approach situations with calm thoughtfulness and a steady, patient demeanor, preferring harmony over confrontation. You have a gentle way of connecting with others that encourages trust, and people often rely on your presence for emotional balance.
Felix can be overly selfless, sometimes putting the comfort of others above his own needs to the point of exhaustion. He may avoid conflict, even when addressing issues is necessary, and can be hesitant to assert himself in tense situations. His sensitivity to the moods of those around him can also make him prone to internal stress. Still, his kindness, empathy, and ability to make people feel safe make him a source of warmth and reassurance wherever he goes.
If you matched with Felix, it means youâre nurturing, thoughtful, and deeply considerate â someone who naturally supports and uplifts others, creating a sense of comfort and trust in every relationship.
This quiz feels more like a personality test, than the typical "Which member are you?".There really where…
That was the goal hehe , usually member tests are simple questions like favorite color , location , movie , song , etc. I don't think those are fully accurate , after all two people can like the same things without being similar personality wise at all .
Personality tests are meant to compare your personality to someone or something else's to figure out which one you're most similar to , which is what I tried to do . ^^
I got Channie and i'm so happy!! I'm an ot8 but Chan has a very special place in my heart and being matched with…
Ive been stannning Straykidz for a little over five years now, when I first got into the group Han was my bias by choice because he was so silly and I found him cute.
But then after around a year of being a Stay I realized I tended to gravitate towards Channie more, which felt odd because when I first got into straykidz I never really noticed him he always faded into the background. But after I began to find myself leaning towards him more often I noticed so many things
The reason he always felt like a background member is because he did it on purpose, if you watch Skz Code, Skz Player, Racha Log, Album specials, Stay Week, Skz Song Camp, Two Kids Room, Skz Vlog, Skz Talker, even All-Night Skz. Chan usually drifts into the background to let the members take the spotlight, he supports them quietly, doing the work they don't want to do or can't do, fixing things, adjusting their outfits if the stylists made them too uncomfortable, cooking, checking on the camera crew, cleaning, fixing something random, etc.
He always lets the boys take front and center even at the expense of his own screen time, most of the time the editors seem to have to go out of the way to include Channie into videos because he's letting everyone else be the star. The only times this isn't happening is when a member directly interacts with him, or if he *has* to be the center of attention, or if the staff set it up so every member gets equal screentime no matter what.
Chan is always quietly caring for his members, taking special care of each of them because they're all so diverse, subtly stepping in if they seem vulnerable or uncomfortable or emotional or embarrassed, always making sure they're fed and feeling comfortable. He even makes sure the staff are alright.
Chan is such a special and genuine person, I've never seen an idol and actually thought that they could do no wrong. Even idols I've stanned for years I've never been able to defend them because you know we don't actually ever know our idols, they uphold their image they could be any kind of person behind the camera. But Bangchan? I can't ever see him doing crazy things or even disrespecting someone, even when he's angry he seems to treat the people around him with care and consideration.
Every time I see him all I can think is I wish and I hope he sees himself the way we see him, I've always seen idols like stars In the sky.
They're beautiful, they shine so brightly, and they're all unique, but they're distant and we can't ever reach them unless we dedicate our lives to becoming astronauts and even then it'll take years and pure luck for us to get approved to go into space.. and when we're up there it'd take even longer to get to them would it really be worth doing? I've always been content seeing them from afar.
Bangchan I see him as the moon, our moon, earths moon. He shines modestly and most of the time he's in the shadows quietly managing our tides and the balance between night and day, but every so often he lets himself shine just for a little moment and you can see how amazing, spectacular, and brilliant he is, it leaves you in a sense of awe.
Most people take the moon for granted and don't know all it does for us, but it keeps on shining doing it's best, that's Bangchan in my eyes. Flawed? Certainly, but all the strengths and upsides outshine the few flaws.
I truly truly wish someone would tell him how amazing and special he is and how much he's done for Straykidz and Stay, I for one wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Chan. Though it's not like I'm a crazy fan who thinks about him 24/7 lol, it's just the moments I do I feel such an overwhelming sense of appreciation and emotion.
I've been ranting kekek, I never get to express how deeply I feel towards Bangchan, anyway thank you for enjoying my quiz!!
Sorry for the very late response, and thank you very much! Thatâs exactly what I wanted to say. If a person…
You understand completely!
Another reviewer said it perfectly as well: People who are rating because they dislike it are hating to try and speak louder then the fans who are showing the series love
Which is resulting in fans rating it excessively high to try and be louder then the haters.
Is what the reviewer said, it's just a whole bunch of back and forth.. I remember being asked why almost every series/movie in my watchlist is rated 8+/10 I responded that it makes no sense for me to watch something I don't enjoy, nearly everything I've taken time to watch in it's entirety has been something I know I'd enjoy and the few that weren't are on my dropped, not interested, or on-hold because I didn't like them and that's that.
I didn't make a big deal about finding them uninteresting nor did I go out of my way to leave an overly biased review about how "terrible" and "lazy written" any of them were because they weren't *bad* they just weren't something I personally like.
I wish more people would have this mindset because it makes no sense to hate on a series and deter others away just because you didn't like it personally! I'd understand if Khemjira was actually bad but it's genuinely well-written, nicely paced, and has decent special effects (as far as Thailand production goes it is pretty high tier.) even when I try to read negative reviews from an unbiased standpoint (because I very much am enjoying the series so far) I can't help but scoff at how exaggerative and untrue the negative reviews are. I like the series yet I'm waiting for it to finish entirely to write a review because I don't want to hype it up just for it to go downhill, seeing people hate on it from only episode 1??
If I were you I'd give this series a rewatch after it's fully out.
It's alright if it isn't your cup of tea , but writing a review calling the series a "waste of time" and saying that it has a "weak plot" is not the way to go about expressing it.
*You* did not like the genre/style/plot, leaving *you* feeling like it was bad. The plot is far from weak seeing as we have good depth and it is constantly being pushed forward, it's a breath of fresh air from the classic 'two college students one happens to be an engineer/architect let's find out how they went from enemies to lovers' which seems like that's the only genre of Thai bl you actually like from reading your reviews.
Basically: You prefer vanilla ice cream over banana flavor that's fine, but let others try out the flavor and figure out whether or not they like it instead of going around calling it trash warning others to stay away.
Hello to anyone reading this person's review, please do not let it deter you away from this masterpiece of a series.
To the reviewer: The reason the violence was excused by the village people is because they are *villagers* their customs are completely different then ours, the directors showed this perfectly with Khem wanting to help and trying to let others know they shouldn't turn a blind eye.
But the villagers follow their customs and older terms, it would've been a great disrespect to interfere with their business in their eyes if the wife wants to escape she may leave her husband but since she doesn't and is very clearly in love with him they have no business interfering in a relationship that isn't their own especially since they aren't even family.
Meddling in others affairs is considered disrespectful and breaching their boundaries in villages (most Thai villages.) and Khem considered it rekindling their love because it was never lose it had just been fractured, clearly Husband only did this during drinking when he was out of his right mind, he then apologized and swore to become a better man and even moved to the city to work so he could give her a better life and get out of his debts.
Obviously Wife did not have to accept this apology nor forgive him, but she did because she still loved him and believed that he could truly become a better person. We saw how kind and caring Husband usually is and we can assume it hadnt been going on for long from context clues (mainly her seeming new to dealing with it)
Domestic Violence should never be excused yes. You should also take note that this series is a work of Fiction, it is not real. Do not deter others away from it by applying real world standards to a bl series, at the end of the day it was pretty realistic and true to what you could expect from a village.
Let's not insult the writing, this movie is well paced and well written.
It just follows old romance cliches whilst still being original, It was not at all 'predictable at every turn' it just didn't have crazy plot twists and mysteries that left us guessing every second of the movie because it isn't a thriller nor a mystery genre.
As someone who doesn't like romance often I can say this movie is well written and a good watch ^^
oh there are many korean romantic comedies with similar theme of high school love / love triangle. here are some…
Kekek, I as well can name quite a few with a similar feel. But it doesn't not mean that Love Untangled is unoriginal like others are insinuating, as far as I'm aware it's unique in many aspects it just follows a few cliches ^^
Before anyone else asks, there are no other Korean movies that follow the same plot as Love Untangled.
If you want something with a similar feel try 'Flipped' a classic American movie. This reviewer is exaggeratedly saying that this movie felt familiar to older romance movies, but there's nothing quite like Love Untangled out there. It's unique plot wise and leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy inside (maybe a teardrop or two.), I'm really disappointed with reviews like this trying to put it down slightly, yes it follows a cliche of 'Female Lead figures out she's in love with Second Male Lead instead of Male Lead' with that coming of age finding yourself feel, but ya know Male Lead is usually a butthole which is what the writers do to push viewers into liking Second Lead more.
I'm happy Love Untangled didn't do this, it's nice to feel a bit regretful for FL because Hyun was indeed handsome and kind to add on top of that, but we also don't dwell on it too much because we can see valid reasons as to why FL went with SML (not just 'oh she found out her crush was a jerk then realized she likes SML instead' like SML is some sort of rebound which is usually what movies like this went with kekek).
Love Untangled isn't basic it just follows an old romance cliche and gives us a fresh take on it. ^^
Christopher BangchanIf you got Bang Chan, it means youâre someone who carries a quiet strength that others naturally…
Well kekek, you could be a mix of two?
"If you got Lee Know, it means youâre someone who values precision, discipline, and depth in everything you do. His perfectionism and desire for structure can make him rigid or overly self-critical, and he can internalize stress instead of asking for support. You treasure meaningful connections over casual acquaintances, and once someone earns your trust, you show loyalty and care in subtle but powerful ways. Youâre practical, organized, and prefer doing things properly rather than taking shortcuts, but that doesnât mean you donât have fun â you just enjoy it on your own terms or in small doses. Thank you for this amazingly made quiz! Right when doing the questions I feld extremely called out XD Some of…
Thank you for taking the quiz and enjoying it!! I tried to make the questions as in-depth as possible since each member is so different, It turned out to be so accurate that I got Lino three times in a row. (ďźĎďź)
I figured questions like "What's your favorite color?" Or "Are you introverted or Extroverted" similar to what 'Which ___ Member are You?' Quizzes usually have don't cause accurate results since even though their personalities are diverse they still tend to like similar things at times, so thank you for appreciating it!!
(p.s don't worry I felt like I was way too easy to read when I took it too, yet I'm the one who made it (TĎT))
