I disagree! Although Yim has soft-looking facial features, he's not actually that small - he's roughly the same…
I see what you mean about the translation/context part, but honestly I still don’t really think the jokes are that funny in general
And for me, it would maybe be different if the acting was stronger, but I just don’t really love it. A lot of scenes don’t really land for me emotionally or in terms of delivery.

I get where you’re coming from, but I still don’t really see the “vulgar, blunt, masculine and aggressive” side in him

And with all due respect, I also don’t think Yim’s acting is strong enough to really sell that type of character to me either. Outside of that chaotic fight scene with the ex in episode 1, he honestly hasn’t come across as very aggressive to me in these two episodes.

From my point of view, he also doesn’t really come across as muscular or bulky enough for the way the character keeps being described in the dialogue.

And with the “small” thing, I don’t think the show means height. Like you said, he’s not even that much smaller than Tutor I think they mean more body type/build — muscle mass, broader frame, just overall looking physically tougher etc.

But yeah, I guess everyone just interprets the character differently.

The dialoque mostly doesn't make any sense.
Honestly, I agree 😭

I genuinely don’t even know what they’re talking about. It feels like random lines with no real connection.

And then there are scenes like the whole “call me daddy” thing… I don’t even know how to describe it 😭

I genuinely thought I was having an aneurysm for a second.

Are we in a bad porn? What is happening??

It’s not ‘nothing pleases you people’ — it’s just that expecting a good script and actors who can actually…
You can call it that, but it still doesn’t make the point any less valid. 😂

Okay, I need to say this 😭

The dialogue just doesn’t make sense because of this whole “big, tough guy” thing.

For example: “My ex-boyfriend beat me up.”
And Tutor’s character goes: “You’re a big guy, didn’t you fight back?”

And Yim’s character responds like: “I’m small, please pretend I’m small.”

And I’m just sitting there like… girl, what??

Because visually, he is small and soft-looking. So when the show keeps insisting he’s this big, intimidating guy, nothing matches.

It’s supposed to be a core insecurity of his character, but it just doesn’t land when what we see is completely different 😭

At this point I’m just like… guys, be for real 💀

This series just started and you all are already complaining. Nothing pleases you people. 😒
It’s not ‘nothing pleases you people’ — it’s just that expecting a good script and actors who can actually act and show more than one emotion isn’t exactly a high bar.

seeing so many “it’s too cringe” comments but like duang with you was cringe too and look how well that…
Not really. I found duang with you cringe too — I just never got why a grown man was doing a baby voice like he’s five and everyone was like ‘aww so cute.’ I was just sitting there like… what is happening 😭 Same vibe with this series, honestly, but I’m taking it with humor at this point.

I dropped Battle of the Writers and The Middleman's Love. Maybe I won't start this one 😅
Honestly, save yourself the time! 😂 If you couldn't stand those two, this one definitely won't change your mind. It's the exact same formula.

I was already not a fan of their previous projects because I don’t think Yim and Tutor are particularly strong actors, and a lot of their work also suffers from pretty weak writing.

And unfortunately, it’s the same issue here again. The dialogue feels super artificial, a lot of it comes across like bad fanfiction instead of real conversations, and the cheating scene at the beginning was honestly kind of funny to me.

The dialogue in general was just… uff. Rough to watch. Like genuinely hard to sit through.

I don’t even think it’s meant to be super emotional, but I still couldn’t take it seriously. Especially this whole “buff dangerous bad boy” vibe for Yim’s character… sorry, but I’m just not buying it. With all respect, if a character is written like that, the casting should actually match it.

And honestly, for me it comes down to chemistry. I can overlook a weaker script or even not-so-strong acting if the chemistry is there, especially in a BL. But if that’s missing too, then there’s just nothing really pulling it together.

And overall: I don’t see characters, I see actors trying to play characters. It never feels like the characters actually exist.

I really tried with this one, but it just didn’t click for me again.

I’ve been losing interest for several episodes and often skip parts because too much time is wasted on unnecessary scenes.

The story gets boring with filler that doesn’t move the plot or relationships forward. We hardly see Net & JJ or Jimmy & Ohm, whose storylines I’d like to see more of.

Honestly, even though Cutie Pie had a silly story, the chemistry between Zee and NuNew there hooked me more than their chemistry here. The chemistry here is okay, but their scenes often feel dull.

Overall, the show feels slow and lifeless. Really disappointing since I expected more.
